Baume-Bengue
Application instruction:
Baume-Bengue – the combined drug, the anesthetizing and antiinflammatory action.
Form of release and structure
Baume-Bengue is issued in the form of ointment for external use (in banks of dark glass on 25 g, 40 g, 64 g and aluminum tubas on 25 g, 35 g).
Contents in 100 g of drug of active agents:
- 3,9 g menthol;
- 7,8 g peppermint oil;
- 20,2 g methyl salicylate.
Auxiliary components: medical vaseline and hard oil paraffins.
Indications to use
According to the instruction, Baume-Bengue is appointed for treatment:
- Diseases of circumarticular fabrics;
- Lumbar ishialgias;
- Mialgiya;
- Radiculitis;
- Arthralgias.
Also means can be applied to the warming massages at sports activities.
Contraindications
Baume-Bengue's use is contraindicated:
- On the open wounds and places affected by inflammatory diseases of skin;
- At hypersensitivity to drug components;
- To children up to 6 years;
To apply with care:
- At aspirinovy bronchial asthma;
- Children are 6-12 years old;
- To women during pregnancy and a lactation.
Route of administration and dosage
Baume-Bengue is applied outwardly. Drug of 3-4 g is rubbed to painful sites of skin. With frequency in several hours the procedure can be repeated, about 3 vtiraniye of drug in days are allowed. Duration of a course of treatment – up to 10 days.
Side effects
Emergence of skin allergic reactions is in rare instances possible.
Special instructions
Not to allow hit of drug on mucous membranes.
Not to use with the warming compresses.
To stop drug use, at emergence of irritation of skin.
