Kardiask

Kardiask – non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NPVS), an antiagregant.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – the tablets covered with a kishechnorastvorimy cover: round, convex from two parties, white color, with a smooth brilliant surface, the easy roughness is possible (on 10 pieces in packagings planimetric cell, in a cardboard pack 1, 2 or 3 packagings).

Active ingredient: acetylsalicylic acid, in 1 tablet – 50 or 100 mg.

Additional components: пласдон K-90, пласдон S-630, cellulose microcrystallic, calcium stearate, lactose, the twin-80, kollinut MAY 100P, talc, titanium dioxide, propylene glycol, starch corn, castor oil.

Indications to use

Kardiask is applied to prevention of the following diseases:

• Passing disturbances of cerebral circulation;
• Stroke, including at patients with passing disturbances of cerebral circulation;
• Thromboembolisms after operations and invasive interventions on vessels, including angioplasty and endarterectomy of carotid arteries, aortocoronary and arteriovenous shunting;
• Deep vein thrombosis, thromboembolisms of a pulmonary artery and its branches, including at a long immobilization of the patient owing to extensive surgical intervention;
• Acute myocardial infarction at patients with risk factors, such as a diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, a lipidemia, obesity, advanced age, smoking;
• Repeated myocardial infarction.

Also Kardiask is applied to treatment of unstable stenocardia.

Contraindications

• Liver/renal failure;
• Gastrointestinal bleeding;
• Digestive tract erosive cankers;
• Hemorrhagic diathesis;
• Aspirinovy triad (a combination of bronchial asthma, the nose recuring a polypose and okolonosovy bosoms with intolerance of acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVS);
• The bronchial asthma caused by reception of salicylates and NPVS;
• Simultaneous use of a methotrexate in a dose of 15 mg a week and more;
• Age up to 18 years;
• I and III trimesters of pregnancy;
• Lactation;
• Hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVS.

Relative (the diseases and states demanding care at use of Kardiask in connection with existence of risk of development of complications):

• Gout;
• Hyperuricemia;
• Cankers of digestive tract or intestinal bleedings in the anamnesis;
• Bronchial asthma;
• Chronic diseases of a respiratory organs;
• Polyposes of a mucous membrane of a nose;
• Hay fever;
• Allergic reactions to medicines;
• Deficit of vitamin K;
• Deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
• Simultaneous use of a methotrexate in a dose is less than 15 mg in a week;
• II trimester of pregnancy.

Route of administration and dosage

Kardiask should be accepted inside before food, washing down with a large amount of liquid.

The recommended doses:

• Prevention at suspicion of an acute myocardial infarction: on 100-200 mg a day or on 300 mg every other day (the first tablet is recommended to be chewed that it was quickly absorbed);
• Prevention of an acute myocardial infarction in the presence of the risk facts: on 100 mg a day or on 300 mg every other day;
• Unstable stenocardia, and also prevention of a repeated myocardial infarction, stroke, passing disturbance of cerebral circulation, tromboembolic episodes after the invasive researches or surgical interventions on vessels: on 100-300 mg a day;
• Prevention of a deep vein thrombosis, thromboembolisms of a pulmonary artery and its branches: on 100-200 mg a day or on 300 mg every other day.

Duration of therapy is defined individually, but Kardiask is applied it is long.

Side effects

• Respiratory system: bronchospasm;
• System of a hemopoiesis: the raised bleeding; seldom – anemia;
• Alimentary system: pain in a stomach, increase in activity of hepatic transaminases, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, ulcers of a mucous membrane of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut (including with perforation), gastrointestinal bleedings;
• Central nervous system: sonitus, dizziness;
• Allergic reactions: small tortoiseshell, anaphylactic reactions, Quincke's edema.

Special instructions

Kardiask can cause a bronchospasm, an attack of bronchial asthma and other hypersensitivity reactions. Patients with the following diseases are subject to risk: bronchial asthma in the anamnesis, chronic respiratory diseases, polyposes of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity, hay fever, allergic reactions to other medicines (which are shown, including, skin rashes, an itch, a small tortoiseshell).

Kardiask accepted in high doses can cause gout in predisposed patients (i.e. in patients with reduced excretion of uric acid).

The patients receiving acetylsalicylic acid (ASK) are subject to risk of development of gastrointestinal bleedings, and in time and after surgical interventions – to bleedings of various degree.

The sick diabetes mellitus undergoing hypoglycemic therapy it must be kept in mind that ASK in high doses can have hypoglycemic effect.

During treatment it is recommended to refrain from alcohol intake as ethanol increases risk of injury of a mucous membrane of digestive tract and lengthening of a bleeding time.

Medicinal interaction

• Methotrexate: its renal clearance decreases at the expense of what effects of a methotrexate amplify; frequency of development of side effects from bodies of a hemopoiesis increases;
• Digoxin: concentration in a blood plasma increases, effects amplify;
• Heparin, indirect anticoagulants, thrombolytic and antithrombocytic drugs (including тиклопидин), hypoglycemic means (insulin and derivatives of sulphonylurea), valproic acid: their action amplifies;
• Uricosuric drugs (including бензбромарон): their action is weakened;
• Ethanol: the additive effect is noted;
• Glucocorticosteroids (GKS): removal amplifies and effect of acetylsalicylic acid weakens, and after cancellation of GKS the risk of overdose of ASK increases;
• Anticoagulants, trombolitik, antithrombocytic drugs: the risk of development of bleedings increases;
• Ibuprofen: efficiency of ASK decreases.

Terms and storage conditions

To store at a temperature up to 25 °C in the place unavailable to children protected from light and moisture.

Period of validity – 2 years.
