Neyromidin

Neyromidin – the drug with antikholinesterazny action used for treatment of diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.

Form of release and structure

Neyromidin release in the following dosage forms:

• Tablets: ploskotsilindrichesky, white, round, with a facet (on 10 pieces in blister strip packagings from a polyvinyl chloride film and aluminum foil, on 5 packagings in a cardboard pack);
• Solution for intramuscular and hypodermic introduction: transparent, colourless (on 1 ml in ampoules of neutral glass, on 5 ampoules in blister strip packagings, on 2 packagings in a cardboard pack).

Is a part of 1 tablet:

• Active ingredient: a hydrochloride of an ipidakrin – 20 mg (in the form of monohydrate of a hydrochloride of an ipidakrin);
• Auxiliary components: monohydrate of lactose – 65 mg, potato starch – 14 mg, calcium stearate – 1 mg.

Is a part of 1 ml of solution:

• Active ingredient: a hydrochloride of an ipidakrin – 5 or 15 mg (in the form of monohydrate of a hydrochloride of an ipidakrin);
• Auxiliary components: the concentrated Acidum hydrochloricum – to pH 3, water for injections – to 1 ml.

Indications to use

• Diseases of a peripheral nervous system, including a polyradiculopathy, mono - and polyneuropathy, a myasthenic syndrome of various etiology and a myasthenia;
• Diseases of the central nervous system, including bulbar paresis and paralyzes. Also Neyromidin appoint during recovery after the organic lesions of the central nervous system proceeding with cognitive and/or motive disturbances;
• Intestines atony – therapy and prevention (tablets).

Contraindications

Absolute:

• Extrapyramidal diseases with hyperkinesias;
• Epilepsy;
• Vestibular frustration;
• Stenocardia;
• Bronchial asthma;
• The expressed bradycardia;
• Mechanical impassability of urinary tract or intestines;
• Aggravation of a peptic ulcer of a stomach or duodenum;
• Age up to 18 years (due to the lack of the systematized data on efficiency and safety of use of drug for this age group of patients);
• Pregnancy (because of increase in a tone of a uterus);
• Lactation period;
• Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Relative (Neyromidin it is necessary to apply with care in the presence of the following states / diseases):

• Peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
• Diseases of cardiovascular system;
• Thyrotoxicosis;
• Respiratory diseases in an acute current or obstructive diseases of respiratory system in the anamnesis;
• Lactose intolerance, lactose intolerance, sprue of isomaltose/lactose (tablet).

Route of administration and dosage

Neyromidin apply inside, intramusculary or subcutaneously. Duration of therapy and a dose are defined by the doctor individually on the basis of weight of a disease.

Tablets

• Polyradiculopathies, mono - and polyneuropathy, a myasthenic syndrome of various etiology and a myasthenia: 1-3 times a day on 1/2-1 tablets (10-20 mg). Course duration – 1-2 months. According to indications carrying out several medical courses with an interval of 1-2 months is possible;
• Heavy disturbances of neuromuscular conductivity, and also prevention of myasthenic crises: quickly parenterally enter 1-2 ml (15-30 mg) of 1,5% of injection solution of Neyromidin then pass to administration of drug inside. The daily dose is increased if necessary till 5-10 by tablets (on 1-2 tablets of 5 times a day);
• Diseases of the central nervous system, including bulbar paresis and paralyzes, the recovery period after the organic lesions of the central nervous system (vascular, traumatic and other genesis) proceeding with cognitive and/or motive disturbances: 2-3 times a day on 1/2-1 tablets, course duration – 2-6 months. If necessary therapy is repeated;
• Intestines atony (therapy and prevention): 2-3 times a day on 1 tablet for 1-2 weeks.

Injection solution

• Mono - and polyneuropathy of various etiology: 1-2 times a day on 5-15 mg subcutaneously or intramusculary, course duration – 10-15 days (at a heavy current – up to 30 days). Further pass to Neyromidin's reception inside;
• Myasthenia and myasthenic syndrome: 1-3 times a day on 15-30 mg subcutaneously or intramusculary. Further pass to Neyromidin's reception inside. The general duration of treatment – 1-2 months. According to indications carrying out several courses with a break is possible 1-2 months;
• Bulbar paresis and paralyzes: 1-2 times a day on 5-15 mg subcutaneously or intramusculary for 10-15 days. At an opportunity it is necessary to pass to the tableted Neyromidin's form;
• Rehabilitation at organic lesions of the central nervous system: 1-2 times a day on 10-15 mg intramusculary for 15 days, further it is recommended to pass to the tableted drug form.

In case of the admission of a single dose, it is not necessary to double following.

The maximum daily dose – 200 mg.

Side effects

During therapy the disturbances connected with excitement of m-holinoretseptorov can develop: the strengthened sweating, hypersalivation, heartbeat, pain in epigastriums, diarrhea, nausea, jaundice, bradycardia, a bronchospasm, the strengthened allocation of a secret of bronchial tubes, spasms, increase in a tone of a uterus, skin allergic reactions (bradycardia and hypersalivation it is possible to reduce m-holinoblokatorami – atropine, etc.).

In rare instances (less than 10% of patients) after use of high doses of Neyromidin can have such side effects as: a headache, dizziness, pain behind a breast, the general weakness, vomiting, drowsiness, skin reactions (in the form of an itch and rash). At development of these symptoms it is necessary to lower a dose or it is short-term (for 1-2 days) to interrupt treatment.

Special instructions

During therapy it is necessary to exclude alcohol (because of possible strengthening of side effects of Neyromidin).

During treatment it is recommended to abstain from control of motor transport, and also performance of potentially dangerous types of the works demanding bystry psychomotor reactions and the increased concentration of attention.

Medicinal interaction

At combined use of Neyromidin with some medicines there can be following effects:

• Other inhibitors of cholinesterase and m - cholinomimetic means: strengthening of action and side effects of drug;
• The drugs oppressing the central nervous system: strengthening of sedation;
• Local anesthetics, aminoglycosides, potassium chloride: weakening of the oppressing action on neuromuscular transmission and carrying out excitement on peripheral nerves;
• Other cholinergic means: increase in risk of development of cholinergic crisis in patients with a myasthenia;
• Alcohol: strengthening of side effects hydrochloride of an ipidakrin.

The risk of development of bradycardia increases if prior to treatment by Neyromidin β-adrenoblockers were applied..........

Performing the combined treatment with nootropic drugs is possible.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in protected from light, the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 25 °C.

Period of validity – 5 years.
