Arendta test

Arendta test (the Soviet neurosurgeon A. A. Arendt, 1890-1965) – a method of the differential diagnosis of the opened and closed hydrocephaly which is based on comparison of results of simultaneous measurement of changes of pressure of cerebrospinal liquid in spinal subarachnoid space and in cerebral cavities during changes of position of a body of the patient of rather horizontal plane.
