Hospital I – the treatment and prevention facility intended for rendering to the population stationary, and in case of existence of polyclinic department as well extra hospital, medical care.
Allocate hospital I:
- Geriatric – specialized or multi-profile in which treatment of patients of senile and advanced age is carried out;
- City – rendering to the adult urban population living in the territory assigned to this hospital main types of the medical specialized care;
- City central – having functions of city public health department in the city of regional, regional or republican subordination, at absence in it regional public health departments;
- The nursery – intended for treatment of children up to 14 years inclusive;
- Territorial (historical) – in pre-revolutionary Russia intended for country people, it was subordinated to territorial self-government;
- Infectious – intended at observance of the high anti-epidemic security, for therapy of infectious patients;
- Clinical – on the basis of which is carried out activity of clinical departments of institutes of improvement of doctors, medical higher educational institutions, and also research establishments;
- Multi-profile – having in structure specialized departments for treatment of patients with certain groups of diseases;
- Integrated – including a hospital and polyclinic department (policlinic) in the structure;
- Psychiatric – specializing in treatment mentally sick;
- Psychoneurological – specializing in treatment of persons with an alcoholism;
- Regional central (TsRB) – carrying out functions of public health department of the rural administrative region;
- Emergency medical service – giving exclusively extra hospital and emergency stationary help; includes in structure the station urgent and ambulance;
- Specialized – the general name of hospitals for treatment of patients with a certain group of diseases which treat – tubercular, infectious, psychoneurological;
- Tubercular – specialized hospital for treatment of tuberculosis at patients is more senior than 18 years;
- Local – giving ambulatory and stationary care to all contingents of the population living on the rural medical site, making dispensary observation and a complex of scheduled and sanitary and anti-epidemic maintenance; has all medical institutions of the rural medical site in the subordination;
- Physiotherapeutic – the specialized hospital intended for treatment of patients by physical therapy methods.
