Van-Gizona method

Van-Gizona method (1. Th. Van Gieson, the American neuropathologist, 1865-1913) – a way of coloring of tissue specimens at which they are consistently processed by hematoxylin and mix of solutions of acid fuchsin with picric acid; muscular tissue is painted in yellow color, connecting – in bright red, kernels of cells – in black-brown.
