Ectropion of a century

Ectropion of a century (ectropion; synonym: ectropion) – abnormal change of an arrangement of a century at which its conjunctival surface is turned knaruzh and edge lags behind an eyeglobe.

Allocate an ectropion of a century:

  • Paralytic (paralyticum) – the ectropion of a lower eyelid developing at paralysis of branches of a facial nerve which innervate a circular muscle of an eye;
  • Cicatricial (cicatricale) – appearing owing to course in fabrics of a century of cicatricial process, for example, after injuries, burns, etc.;
  • Spastic (spasticum) – resulting from a spasm of an orbital part of a circular muscle of an eye and a simultaneous pushing off a reinforced conjunctiva of free edge of a century (for example, at conjunctivitis);
  • Senile (senile) – the ectropion of a lower eyelid appearing because of an atrophy of fibers of a circular muscle of an eye and fabrics of a century at senile and advanced age.
