Allergodil

Allergodil – the antiallergic medicine of local action applied in ophthalmology.

Form of release and structure

Allergodil release in shape:

• Colourless 0,05% of eye drops with contents in 1 ml of an azelastin of a hydrochloride in number of 500 mkg and excipients: gipromelloza, dinatrium of an edetat, a benzalkoniya of chloride, sorbitol of 70%, sodium of hydroxide, the purified water. In polyethylene bottles on 6 ml with a dropper;
• Transparent spray with contents in 1 dose of 140 mkg of an azelastin of a hydrochloride (in 1 bottle – 10 mg) and excipients: gipromelloza, dinatrium of an edetat of a dihydrate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium of hydrophosphate of dodecahydrate, sodium of chloride, the purified water. In dark glass bottles with the doser sprayer on 10 ml.

Indications to use

Being a blocker of histamine H1 receptors, drug has the prolonged and strong antiallergic effect, and also has antiinflammatory and membrane stabilizing effect.

Allergodil according to the instruction appoint for:

• Prevention and treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis;
• Therapies of year-round allergic conjunctivitis.

Contraindications

Allergodil is contraindicated at hypersensitivity, and also to the feeding and pregnant women.

Allergodil it is impossible to appoint spray:

• To children up to 6 years at treatment of allergic rhinitis and a rinokonjyunktivit;
• To children up to 12 years at treatment of vasculomotor rhinitis.

The medicine in the form of eye drops is not applied to children 4 years are younger.

Route of administration and dosage

At treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis medicine in the form of drops is appointed to children 4 years and the adult 2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) on 1 drop in each eye are more senior. In hard cases frequency rate of use of Allergodil is increased to 4 times a day. Against the background of nonseasonal (year-round) allergic conjunctivitis the medicine is applied according to the same scheme.

Drops can be applied with the preventive purpose.

According to the instruction, Allergodil in the form of spray apply intranazalno. At treatment of allergic rhinitis and a rinokonjyunktivit to children 6 years are more senior and the adult appoint on 1 dose of medicine in each nasal course 2 times a day. Children of 12 years and the adult if necessary can increase this dosage twice.

Allergodil it is possible to apply it is long, but no more than half a year.

Side effects

Against the background of Allergodil's use there can be frustration from an organ of sight which are shown in a look:

• Feelings of a foreign body in an eye;
• Increases in sensitivity of an eye;
• Irritations;
• The raised slezootdeleniye;
• Discolorations of a conjunctival cover;
• Hypostasis;
• Itch;
• Morbidities;
• Reddenings.

In some cases the blepharitis and a xerophthalmus develops.

From system reactions can arise a dysgeusia, диспноэ and a xeroderma.

At overdose by Allergodil development of the increased drowsiness is possible. In this case it is necessary to carry out a symptomatic treatment.

Special instructions

Allergodil according to the recommendation of the doctor it is possible to apply at treatment of infectious diseases of eyes as a part of complex therapy. At simultaneous use with other eye drops it is necessary to observe an interval not less than 15 minutes.

It is not recommended to carry contact lenses during therapy by Allergodil.

Terms and storage conditions

Allergodil it is possible to get in a drugstore without appointment of the doctor. A medicine period of validity in any dosage form – 3 years. After opening of a bottle eye drops can be applied within 1 month, spray – for half a year.
