Капли глазные Аломид Alomid – antiallergic means for topical administration in ophthalmology.

Form of release and structure

Drug is produced in the form of 0,1% of drops eye: transparent liquid from pale yellow color to colourless (on 5 ml or 10 ml in a bottle dropper "drop-teyner", in a cardboard box 1 bottle).

Alomid contains in 1 ml of drops:

Active ingredient: a lodoksamida трометамин – 1,78 mg (there corresponds 1 mg of a lodoksamid);
Auxiliary components: a benzalkoniya chloride, sodium citrate, Mannitolum, a gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloz, dinatrium эдетат, citric acid monohydrate, тилоксапол, Acidum hydrochloricum concentrated and/or sodium hydroxide (for adjustment of level рН), the water purified – to 1 ml.

Indications to use

Allergic conjunctivitis;
Huge papillary conjunctivitis;
Keratoconjunctivitis (seasonal, year-round, etc.);
Allergic keratoconjunctivitis (medicamentous, spring, chronic, nonspecific, follicular, catarral, etc.);
Ophthalmologic reactions to carrying contact lenses.

Contraindications

Children's age up to 2 years;
Individual intolerance of drug.

With care Alomid during pregnancy and feeding is recommended to appoint a breast.

Route of administration and dosage

Alomid apply locally, by instillation in a conjunctival sac.

The recommended dosing: in each eye on 1-2 drop 4 times a day, at regular intervals.

It is impossible to touch with a pipette tip at an instillation eyes, or any other surface, in order to avoid pollution of contents of a bottle.

Side effects

Local: passing discomfort, sight misting, hyperemia, pricking, burning, itch, adjournment of crystals, pain in an eye (eyes), dacryagogue, keratitis, hypostasis of a century, хемоз;
System (are noted in rare instances): vision disorder, fatigue, dyspepsia, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, dryness mucous nose, allergic reactions (feeling of heat, skin itch, rash).

Special instructions

Carrying hydrophilic (soft) contact lenses for treatment is recommended to be stopped.

After use of drops perhaps temporary opacification of sight, other visual problems, it can exert a negative impact on ability to manage motor transport and to work with potentially dangerous mechanisms. In that case follows for some time (before sight recovery) to postpone the occupations demanding the increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Medicinal interaction

Simultaneous use of Alomid with corticosteroids for treatment of ophthalmologic pathologies is allowed.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 8 to 30 °C.

Period of validity – 2 years.

After opening of a bottle use of drops is shown within one month.
