Pharmacological effect of vitamin of Berokk

Берокка

Berokka represents a vitamin and mineral complex which is intended for completion of deficit of vitamin C and vitamins of group B, and also magnesium and calcium.

This drug happens two types: Berokka calcium and magnesium (the sparkling tablets having an orange flavor) and the Berocca Plus (tablets, coated). Berokka calcium and magnesium have the following structure: vitamin C - 1000 mg, _{B1 and B2 vitamins} - on 15 mg, _{B6 vitamin} – 10 mg, _{B12 vitamin} - 10 mkg, biotin – 150 mkg, pantothenic acid – 23 mg, niacinamide – 50 mg, calcium and magnesium – on 100 mg.

Are a part of the Berocca Plus the same vitamins and minerals, as a sparkling form of drug. Difference is that the Berocca Plus are added with folic acid (0,4 mg) and zinc (10 mg), and the content of ascorbic acid is reduced twice (500 mg).

Thanks to the components Berokk's vitamins are capable:

to stimulate formation of bone and connecting tissue, to normalize permeability of capillaries;
to improve activity and development of a nervous system, to provide conditions of transfer of nervous impulses to muscles;
to stimulate metabolism of nervous and muscular tissue;
to remove nervous tension, fatigue, irritability;
to help at a stress, overfatigue, sleeplessness;
to fill a lack of the useful substances lost as a result after reception of antibiotics, a chemotherapy course at a serious illness, nicotine addiction, an alcohol abuse.

Berokka responses confirm efficiency of drug in case of satisfaction of the increased need of an organism for vitamins and minerals which is caused by the increased exercise stresses, a long nerve strain, defective or unbalanced food.

Indications to use

According to the instruction, it is reasonable to appoint Berokk at the vitamin deficiency provoked by various reasons, and also at states, provoked by the low content of magnesium and calcium in an organism (at sleep disorders, uneasiness, irritability, apathy, an adynamy).

Application instruction of Berokk

Берокка Плюс Berokk's vitamins calcium and magnesium are usually applied from 1 week to 1 month, on 1 tablet dissolved in enough water, daily.

The Berocca Plus is accepted according to the same scheme, only without dissolving, and washing down with water.

Side effects

Berokka responses confirm good tolerance of drug, however such reactions as are in rare instances possible:

throat hypostasis, rash, small tortoiseshell;
digestive frustration in an easy reversible form;
hemolitic anemia (at deficit dehydrogenase glyukozo-6-phosphate).

Contraindications

Expediency of purpose of this drug is defined by the doctor. However if the independent decision to accept Berokk was made, the instruction has to be studied in detail.

Use of drug of Berokk is forbidden to the persons having:

the increased content of magnesium or calcium in an organism;
urolithiasis;
disturbance of functions of kidneys;
hyperoxaluria;
hemochromatosis;
deficit dehydrogenase glyukozo-6-phosphate;
hypersensitivity to drug components.

Berokk's vitamins calcium and magnesium are contraindicated to children up to 12 years, and the Berocca Plus – up to 15 years. During pregnancy and a lactation drug should be accepted on doctor's orders.

In the instruction to Berokka diseases at which drug is taken with caution are specified: intestines diseases, atrophic gastritis, pancreas diseases, inborn deficit of an internal factor of Kastl or syndrome of insufficiency of absorption _{of B12 vitamin}.

Additional information

Drug needs to be stored at a temperature which is not exceeding ^{250 C}. Berokk period of validity with calcium and magnesium – 3 years, the Berocca Plus – 2 years.
