Menyer's disease – disorder of an inner ear which causes increase in amount of liquid in an ear cavity. The disease Болезнь Меньера – расстройство внутреннего ухаis called in honor of the French doctor Prosper Menyer who published in 1861 article in which told the first that dizziness can cause internal disturbances of an ear cavity.

Menyer's disease is characterized by sudden dizzinesses, pressure sense, a sonitus and hearing loss. The hearing loss is temporary and occurs alternately, in one, in other ear.

Menyer's disease can be a consequence of such diseases as:

  • Syphilis;
  • Kogan's syndrome;
  • Autoimmune disease of an inner ear;
  • Dizavtonomiya is family;
