Cora Krushiny – the phytodrug having laxative effect.

Pharmacological action and properties

Buckthorn – a high bush, not really widespread and not exacting to conditions, with the bulged branches. Bark at draws of a plant of silver-gray color which darkens to brown-black over time.

The buckthorn is distinguished on direct prickles on tops of branches. Leaves – glossy ovoid, with profound veins. Blossoms in the imperceptible, collected in umbrellas chartreuse colors.

Antraglikozida which cause pharmacological action contain in all parts of a plant – leaves, bark, fruits and kidneys.

Curative properties of Cora Krushina are known and are used since the 14th century. Cora Krushiny contains the oxymethylanthraquinones and other biologically active agents having laxative effect. The laxative effect usually occurs within 8-12 hours after use.

Some properties of Cora Krushina are not typical. So, collected bark is not recommended to be applied fresh within a year, because of the substances which are contained in it capable to irritate a mucous membrane of a stomach and to cause severe pains, vomiting and nausea.

In traditional medicine Cora Krushiny is applied at gout, hypostases of a renal and cordial origin, gripes, climacteric frustration and various skin diseases.

Release form

Cora Krushiny is let out:

  • In filters software packages of 1,5 g, 2 g, on 10 and 20 pieces in packaging;
  • In the form of the crushed raw materials containing pieces of bark of various form of dark brown color with a slight smell and bitterish taste. On 50 g, 75 g in cardboard packaging;
  • In the form of tablets, coated, on 200 mg, on 50 pieces in a plastic can.

Indications to use

Cora Krushiny is applied to treatment of chronic locks.

Contraindications

Cora Krushiny is contraindicated at:

  • Spastic locks;
  • Syndrome of an acute abdomen;
  • The increased individual sensitivity to biologically active agents of Cora Krushina;
  • Intestinal impassability;
  • Appendicitis and other inflammatory processes in an abdominal cavity;
  • Metrorrhagias;
  • Acute feverish states;
  • Colitis;
  • Enteritis;
  • Locks of a neurogenic and endocrine origin;
  • Bleedings.

Cora Krushiny is not applied at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Application instruction

Cora Krushiny is applied in the form of broth.

For broth preparation 1 tablespoon of the crushed vegetable raw materials is filled in with a glass of water and boiled 20 minutes. Accept on a half-glass in the morning and for the night.

Cora Krushiny in the form of tablets is accepted on 1-2 tablets just before a dream.

Side effects

At Cora Krushina's use development of insignificant side effects in the form of skin rash and an abdominal pain is possible.

Cora Krushina's property is coloring of urine in yellow color that is caused by chrysophanic acid and does not demand drug withdrawal.

Storage conditions

As well as other phytodrugs, release Cora Krushiny without medical recipe and store no more than 3 years.
