AVS diet the Traffic light – a comfortable power supply system which can adhere for a long time. There is an opinion that "AVS" in the name of a diet indicates its simplicity: to choose the correct products as easily how to call the first three letters of the English alphabet.

Other part of the name – "Traffic light" explains the main principle of a diet according to which all products are divided into groups:

  • Green ("green light"). It is possible to use at any time and without restrictions on quantity;
  • Yellow ("yellow light"). It is allowed to eat only till 18:00;
  • Red ("red light"). It is prohibited.

Rules of a diet of AVS Traffic light:

  1. Fractional food. Number of meals not less than 5;
  2. In one step food it is allowed to use no more than two dishes by the principle a lung + heavier;
  3. The sparing ways of heat treatment of products – boiling, on couple, suppression, roasting in an oven or on a grill;
  4. To go in for fitness. It will strengthen effect of a diet;
  5. For those who wish to accelerate weight loss process it is recommended to arrange fasting days weekly. The diet of fasting day has to consist of one product from the green list and water. The quantity of food is not limited.

AVS diet the Traffic light allows to lose from 1 to 3 kg a week.

The diet of a diet is various, the caloric content and volume of food from green group is unlimited. All this allows to avoid feeling of hunger and to apply a diet for a long time.

Shortcomings and contraindications

Possible lack of a diet of AVS the Traffic light – need to strictly adhere to the list of products of green and yellow groups. However over time these lists are remembered and the choice of food does not make special work.

What products are resolved?

AVS diet diet basis the Traffic light – "green" group of products:

  • Boiled eggs (it is no more than 2 pieces in day);
  • Low-fat fermented milk products: yogurt, kefir, thane, ayran;
  • Unleavened small loafs;
  • Fish and seafood;
  • Fruit: citrus and apples;
  • Vegetables: carrots, cucumbers, cabbage, sheet salad and greens;
  • Buckwheat;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • Drinks: black, green and herbal tea, black coffee, pure still water.

"Yellow" group of products:

  • Kashi on water (except semolina);
  • Macaroni;
  • Fast meat and bird, low-fat sausages and sausage;
  • Cottage cheese and cheese;
  • Fruit and dried fruits;
  • Pastries from puff pastry;
  • Chocolate and lollipops.

Alcoholic beverages in a small amount are occasionally admissible: dry wine, whisky, martini and vodka.

What products are prohibited?

Enter into "red" group:

  • Fat meat, fat;
  • Fast food;
  • Barmy pastries and white loaf;
  • Processed cheese, sour cream, whole milk;
  • Mayonnaise;
  • Products with cream, ice cream;
  • Carbonated sweet drinks, beer and champagne.

Useful tips

Council 1: Aiming to lose weight quicker, it is not necessary to limit too strongly the daily caloric content as it is fraught with delay of metabolism and, respectively, weight loss process.

Council 2: On a diet the amount of the drunk water is not regulated, however it is desirable to watch that this quantity was sufficient – water helps to transfer easier a diet and promotes removal of toxins from an organism.
