Oksial

Oksial – the moistening eye drops effectively liquidating symptoms of irritation and dryness of a mucous membrane of eyes thanks to the electrolytes which are Oksial's part and hyaluronic acid. According to indications of concentration and viscosity Oksial's list - an analog of a natural tear that helps to recover quickly cells of a cornea and to remove irritation of mucous.

Solution of hyaluronic acid in a certain combination to boric acid, sodium salts, potassium, calcium and magnesium is Oksial's part 15%. Excipients - polymer the Protector and preservative Oxide of 0,06% (are patented).

Pharmacological action of Oksial

Eye drops Oksial reduce dryness, reduce fatigue of eyes, remove the burning, reddening and an itch caused by action of such irritating external factors as:

• Long carrying contact lenses;
• Long visual tension – permanent job at the computer, long stay driving the car;
• Stay in the pulverulent, smoke-filled rooms;
• Other factors causing dryness and reddening of eyes.

At introduction of drops Oksial on a cornea is formed the thin elastic film protecting mucous from drying. Solution of hyaluronic acid as a part of Oksial promotes healing (epithelization) of microcracks of a cornea of an eye. The balanced content of electrolytes (Ca, K, Cl, Mg, Na) supports the natural level of production of mucin in scyphoid cells of a conjunctiva. Coming into contact with a cornea, preservative the Oxide (patented) breaks up to oxygen, water and sodium chloride – biologically inert components. Owing to what Oksial's list does not cause an allergy, is not toxic and does not irritate mucous an eye.

Release form

Release drops Oksial in a sterile bottle dropper. The volume of a bottle is 10 ml.

Oksial's analogs

Any drops applied to moistening of a cornea and a conjunctiva can be Oksial's analogs on the mechanism of influence. In the modern pharmaceutical market rather wide choice of drugs – Oksial's analogs: Comfort, Likontin, Sisteyn, Hilozar Komod and many others.

Indications to Oksial's use

According to the instruction Oksial in drops can be applied to reduction of irritation and dryness of a cornea and mucous an eye in the following cases:

• Contact conjunctivitis. Arise under the influence of wind, smoke, dust, an artificial atmosphere, ultraviolet, cosmetics, the chlorinated water;
• Intensive visual loadings. Arise owing to long visual tension during the driving of the car, work behind the computer monitor, etc.;
• Reception of some medicines which side effect is dehydration mucous;
• When carrying contact lenses;
• At a syndrome of a dry eye.

According to the instruction Oksial drops are used for complex treatment of the states which arose after sight correction operations by the laser.

Contraindications

According to the instruction Oksial drops cannot be used at individual hypersensitivity to drug components.

Oksial route of administration

The moistening drops for eyes Oksial according to the instruction use in case of need. On 1-2 drops in an eye, from one to several times a day. It is necessary to dig in eyes with care that the dropper tip did not adjoin to anything, in order to avoid possible pollution.

Applying drops Oksial, it is not obligatory to remove contact lenses.

Medicinal interaction of Oksial

According to the instruction Oksial is not recommended to use along with other drops for eyes. Interaction with other medicines is not described.

Side effects of Oksial

Allergic reactions to drug components Oksial are possible at individual intolerance.

Storage conditions

Oksial is stored at the room temperature, in the place protected from light. It is impossible to freeze. A period of validity 2 years from the date of production.

Drops Oksial have to be used within 60 days after opening of a sterile bottle. The remains of drug need to be thrown out.
