Tablets dispersed (soluble): flat, on a circle – with slanted edge, white; on one party – risk; on both parties of a tablet the surface can be a little rough (in the laminated strips on 2 or 4 pieces, on 6 or 12 strips in a cardboard pack);
Tablets, film coated: a kapsulovidny form with flat edge, white; on one party – a stamping of "PANADOL", on another – risk (in blisters on 6 or 12 pieces, on 1 or 2 blisters in a cardboard pack).

Structure of 1 tablet dispersed:

Active ingredient: paracetamol – 0,5 g;
Additional components: citric acid, hydrosodium carbonate, sodium saccharinate, sorbitol, sodium carbonate, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, диметикон.

Structure of 1 tablet, film coated:

Active ingredient: paracetamol – 0,5 g;
Additional components: talc, gipromelloz, prezhelatinizirovanny and corn starch, triacetin, povidone, potassium sorbate, stearic acid.

Indications to use

Panadolum is appointed for symptomatic therapy of the following states / diseases:

Feverish syndrome, including the increased body temperature at catarrhal diseases and flu (as an antipyretic);
Pain syndrome, including migraine, painful periods, muscular, tooth and a headache, back pains and a throat (as anesthetic).

Drug is intended for decrease in expressiveness of a pain syndrome at the time of use, it does not exert impact on progressing of a disease.

Contraindications

Absolute:

Age up to 6 years;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Relative (purpose of Panadolum demands care in the presence of the following states / diseases):

Viral hepatitis;
High-quality hyperbilirubinemias (including Gilbert's syndrome);
Deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
Liver and renal failure;
Alcoholic damages of a liver and alcoholism;
Period of pregnancy and chest feeding;
Advanced age.

Route of administration and dosage

Panadolum should be accepted inside. The dispersed tablets before reception need to be dissolved in water (volume – not less than 100 ml); tablets, coated, wash down with water.

The recommended scheme of administration of drug (the break between receptions of a single dose should not be less than 4 hours):

Adults (including elderly patients): to 4 times a day on 0,5-1 g; as much as possible in day – 4 g;
Children of 9-12 years: to 4 times a day on 0,5 g; as much as possible in day – 2 g;
Children of 6-9 years: 3-4 times a day on 0,25 g; as much as possible in day – 1 g.

Duration of a course of reception of Panadolum without medical control for anesthesia should not exceed 5 days as antipyretic – 3 days. Any changes of the recommended scheme of administration of drug should be coordinated with the doctor.

Side effects

As a rule, at observance of the recommended scheme of reception, Panadolum is transferred well.

Possible side effects:

Allergic reactions: sometimes – skin rashes, an itch, a Quincke's disease;
Hemopoietic system: seldom – anemia, thrombocytopenia, increase in quantity of a methemoglobin in blood (methemoglobinemia);
Urinary system: at prolonged use of high doses – renal colic, a papillary necrosis, a nonspecific bacteriuria, intersticial nephrite.

Special instructions

At purpose of a long course in high doses it is necessary to carry out control of a picture of blood.

Only under medical control and with care Panadolum is appointed at diseases of kidneys or a liver, along with antiemetic medicines (Metoclopramidum, domperidony), and also with the drugs lowering cholesterol level in blood (Colestyraminum).

To avoid toxic damage of a liver, to combine use of Panadolum and alcoholic beverages does not follow.

In cases when there is a need for daily reception of anesthetics, paracetamol at the combined use with anticoagulants can be accepted only occasionally.

The doctor needs to be warned about reception of Panadolum in cases of carrying out the analysis on determination of level of glucose and uric acid in blood.

Medicinal interaction

Simultaneous prolonged use of paracetamol with some drugs can lead to development of the following actions:

Anticoagulants of indirect action (warfarin and other coumarins): the probability of development of bleedings increases;
Salicylates: the risk of developing of cancer of bladder or kidney increases;
Other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs: the risk of an aggravation of symptoms at a renal failure (approach of an end-stage) increases, emergence of a renal papillary necrosis and a "analgetic" nephropathy.

At the combined use of Panadolum with some substances / drugs such effects can be observed:

Ethanol: the probability of development of acute pancreatitis increases;
Metoclopramidum, домперидон: paracetamol absorption speed increases;
Diflunisal: the probability of development of a hepatotoxic and plasma concentration of active ingredient of Panadolum increases;
Inductors of enzymes of a microsomal oxidation in a liver (ethanol, Phenytoinum, флумецинол, barbiturates, carbamazepine, tricyclic antidepressants, rifampicin, a zidovudine, Phenytoinum, phenylbutazone): at overdoses the probability of a hepatotoxic action increases;
Myelotoxic medicines: manifestations of a gematotoksichnost of Panadolum amplify;
Uricosuric drugs: their activity goes down;
Inhibitors of a microsomal oxidation (Cimetidinum): the risk of a hepatotoxic action goes down;
Colestyraminum: paracetamol absorption speed goes down.
