Adamyuka-Elshniga spheres

Adamyuka-Elshniga spheres (Russian ophthalmologist E. V. Adamyuk, 1839-1906; German ophthalmologist of A. Elschnig, 1863-1939; synonym: The Elshniga of a pearl) – cellular conglomerates of spherical shape in a crystalline lens capsule epithelium which arise because of excess regeneration of an epithelium after carrying out ekstrakapsulyarny extraction of a cataract.
