Arkhangelsk obstetric turn

Arkhangelsky obstetric turn (the Soviet obstetrician-gynecologist B. A. Arkhangelsky, 1890-1954) – obstetric external version of a fruit on a head which is made at its pelvic presentation or at slanting or cross situation. The basic principle of such turn is shift: buttocks – towards a head, a head – to an abdominal wall of a fruit, a back – to a head.
