Vyulpiana-Geydengayna phenomenon

Vyulpiana-Geydengayna phenomenon (Е. F. A. Vulpian, French physiologist and neuropathologist, 1826-1887; R. P. H. Heidenhain, German physiologist and histologist, 1834-1897; synonym: tonomotorny effect) – the tonic slow muscular contraction of language of a frog arising against the background of irritation of a sensory nerve of language on condition of preliminary carrying out (in 7-8 days) sections of a motor nerve of language.
