Artra
Application instruction:
Artra – the synthetic drug used for prolonged treatment of an osteoarthritis. Medicine promotes regeneration of cartilaginous tissue, facilitates disease symptoms, has moderate antiinflammatory effect.
Form of release and structure
Drug is produced in the form of oval tablets, white with impregnations, with a specific smell (in bottles from polyethylene of high density on 30, 60, 100 and 120 tablets).
The active agents which are contained in 1 tablet:
- Glycosamine a hydrochloride – 500 mg;
- Chondroitin sodium sulfate – 500 mg.
Excipients: sodium of a kroskarmelloz, cellulose microcrystallic, calcium sulfate disubstituted, magnesium stearate and stearic acid.
Indications to use
Artra is applied at treatment of an osteoarthrosis of a backbone and peripheral joints.
Contraindications
- The expressed renal failures;
- Hypersensitivity to components of tablets.
In the period of a lactation and during pregnancy medicine is not recommended to be accepted.
Because of insufficiency of clinical trials drug is not appointed to children 15 years are younger.
Route of administration and dosage
Artra is accepted it is long, the steady therapeutic effect is reached after half a year of use of drug.
Within the first three weeks of treatment children are more senior than 15 years and adults accept on 1 tablet of medicine twice a day then it is necessary to reduce frequency rate of receptions to once a day on all subsequent course of treatment.
Side effects
Artra's use can cause the following by-effects:
- Dizziness;
- Diarrhea or lock;
- Pains in epigastriums;
- Allergic reactions.
Special instructions
At treatment of an osteoarthrosis Artr can apply along with glucocorticosteroids.
Also it is necessary to consider that drug increases absorption of tetracyclines, reduces influence of semi-synthetic penicillin, strengthens action of antiagregant and anticoagulants.
