Preventive reception of Difluzol is appointed the patient with malignant new growths accepting cytostatic, immunosuppressor drugs and when performing radiation therapy.

Contraindications

Breastfeeding period;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

It is not recommended to appoint at treatment of children under 6 years.

With care appoint drug: at an abnormal liver function; at immunodeficiency; during pregnancy – use is possible only according to the vital clinical indications and if the expected therapeutic effect for mother prevails over potential harm for a fruit.

Route of administration and dosage

Capsules accept inside, irrespective of meal, washing down with water.

The dose and the period of treatment are appointed by the doctor individually on the basis of clinical indications.

The recommended dosing at treatment of adult patients:

Candidiasis of mucous membranes of an organism, including milkwoman: on 0,05-0,1 g of 1 times a day, within 14-30 days;
Cryptococcosis: one-time reception – 0,4 g in the first days, then on 0,2-0,4 g a day. The course of treatment depends on disease severity and effect of therapy, at treatment of meningitis can make from 6 to 8 weeks;
Mycosis: on 0,05 g of 1 times a day or 0,15 g a week, a therapy course up to 6 weeks;
Chromophytosis: on 0,05 g of 1 times a day, the treatment period – 2-6 weeks.

The single dose of Difluzol at treatment of children depends on the weight of the child and is defined by a settlement way:

Fungus diseases of mucous membranes: on 0,003 g on 1 kg;
Candidiasis and cryptococcosis: for 0,006-0,012 on 1 kg of body weight.

Considering the low speed of removal of a flukonazol from an organism, frequency rate of administration of drug for babies of 2 weeks of life is appointed 1 time at 72 o'clock, for children at the age of 1 month – 1 time at 48 o'clock.

Side effects

Use of Difluzol can cause side effects:

From a digestive tract: manifestations of a hepatotoxic, vomiting, meteorism, diarrhea, pain syndrome;
From a nervous system: dizzinesses, change of flavoring feelings, spasms, headache;
From system of a hemopoiesis: thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis (oppression of a leukopoiesis), neutropenia;
Perhaps: allergic reactions in the form of a skin itch, a small tortoiseshell, a face edema, an acute anaphylaxis; arrhythmia; sometimes – skin rashes, a hypopotassemia, a hypercholesterolemia, an alopecia.

Special instructions

To patients of advanced age in case of lack of absolute contraindications drug is appointed according to the standard scheme.

In case of registration of increase in indicators of bilirubin, alaninaminotranspherase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (nuclear heating plant) it is necessary to estimate expediency of continuation of therapeutic use of drug.

At emergence of an enanthesis Difluzol should be cancelled.

Medicinal interaction

The elimination half-life of a flukonazol is reduced at a combination with rifampicin.

At simultaneous use drug: increases concentration level in blood of cyclosporine, a tsidovudin; strengthens action of dipheninum, Hydrochlorthiazidum, anticoagulating and hypoglycemic means.

The eaten food, combination to antacids and Cimetidinum does not exert impact on absorption of Difluzol.

Drug does not influence efficiency of peroral contraceptives.
