Disflatil
Application instruction:
Disflatil – the carminative drug reducing a meteorism.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – drops for intake: the homogeneous milky-white emulsion, has a pineapple smell (on 30 ml in bottles from dark glass with the doser, in a cardboard box 1 bottle).
Active agent – симетикон (the activated dimethyl silicone), in 1 ml (27±3 drops) – 40 mg.
Auxiliary components: preservatives – Natrium benzoicum (Е 211) and the benzoic acid (Е 210); sodium saccharin, polyoxyethylene (2) stearate, aromatic additive (pineapple), polyoxyethylene (20) stearate, the water purified.
Indications to use
Disflatil's use is shown at a symptomatic treatment of all types of accumulation of gases in the digestive tract (DT) and excess gas generation: meteorism, including postoperative, abdominal distention, aerophagia. Effect of drug promotes reduction of feeling of overflow and feeling of tension in a stomach.
Drops accept for a conclusion of gases and air from a GIT by preparation to radiological, endoscopic, sonografichesky and to ultrasound examinations of intestines and/or stomach.
Contraindications
- The intestinal impassability which is followed by vomiting and severe gripes (at these states it is necessary to ask urgently for medical assistance);
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Drops are recommended to be accepted after or during food, it is desirable, each reception to accompany with insignificant amount of liquid.
Before use contents of a bottle need to be shaken up well.
The drug dosing at a symptomatic treatment has age restrictions:
- Adults and children from 6 to 15 years: till 25-50 drops, after each meal and before going to bed;
- Babies and children up to 6 years: till 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day in time or after food.
By training the patient for a research of intestines and/or a stomach preventive reception should be carried out according to the scheme: 2 days preceding a research – on 50 drops 3-4 times a day, then, in day of a research – on 50 drops on an empty stomach, in the morning and just before carrying out a research.
Side effects
Drops are considered as safe and do not cause side effects in the patient as in a GIT there is no absorption of active agent.
At hypersensitivity to auxiliary components of drug development of allergic reactions is possible.
Special instructions
In case of the long and often repeating digestion disturbances, it is necessary to see a doctor for definition of the reason of these phenomena.
Patients with a diabetes mellitus can accept drops without dose adjustment of hypoglycemic means as drug contains not sugar, but synthetic sweetener.
Use of drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding does not exert impact on fetation and does not get into mother's milk, nevertheless, reception of drops should be carried out only after consultation with the doctor.
Drug does not exert impact on ability of control of vehicles and performance of work with mechanisms.
Medicinal interaction
To patients inclined to the allergic reactions having other diseases and accepting other medicines, before use of drops it is necessary to get advice of the attending physician.
Usually, simultaneous use with other drugs and food stuffs, does not demand any restrictions.
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C.
Period of validity – 5 years.
