Febrofid - the drug relating to group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is presented in such dosage forms as cream, gel, solution and spray for external use.

Pharmacological action

According to the instruction Febrofid has anti-exudative, antiinflammatory and analgeziruyushchy effect, providing local medical effect of damages of sinews, joints, sheaves, skin, muscles, absorbent vessels. At the diagnosis drug leads an articulate syndrome to decrease in joint pains at the movement and at rest, reduces their swelling and morning constraint.

Active ingredient of Febrofid and analogs of drug well gets through skin and is metabolized in a liver. Ketoprofen does not kumulirut (collects) in fabrics: about 80% of a dose of substance are allocated in the form of metabolites, about 10% - are left by an organism with urine in an invariable look.

Indications

According to the instruction to Febrofid drug is used locally, as means for external use at a symptomatic treatment:

Mialgiya, neuralgia, backbone pains;
Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of a musculoskeletal system (bursitis, arthritis, tendinitis, synovitis, lumbago);
Uncomplicated, often sports, injuries: stretching, dislocation, rupture of sinews and sheaves, posttraumatic pains, bruises;
Inflammatory diseases of veins (periphlebitis, phlebitis), lymph nodes, absorbent vessels.

Contraindications

Febrofid and the analogs of drug possessing similar pharmacological action is not recommended to apply to people with hypersensitivity to ketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid (emergence of a bronchospasm is possible), and also other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NPVS). According to the instruction to Febrofid, medicine does not intend for processing of the becoming wet dermatosis infected grazes, wounds, burns and eczema. Drug is contraindicated to use in the III trimester of pregnancy, and also during breastfeeding. In I and II trimesters of pregnancy Febrofid's use is reasonable only in case of emergency.

Route of administration

Means for external use is put by 2-3 times a day with a thin layer, carefully rubbing Febrofid in the painful and inflamed body parts.

Solution is applied 2-3 times a day to rinsing: for its preparation it is necessary to inject 10 ml into a measured glass and to dissolve the received liquid in 100 ml of drinking water.
