Phytolysinum – represents the diuretic means having a plant origin.
Pharmacological action of Phytolysinum
In the instruction to Phytolysinum it is noted that drug possesses diuretic, soothing, spasmolytic, antiinflammatory and bacteriostatic action. According to reviews Phytolysinum promotes a loosening and removal of urinary stones (concrements).
Form of release and structure
Phytolysinum is issued in the form of paste, soft on the consistence, having green-brown color and a specific aromatic smell. In 100 g of paste 67,2 g of the condensed aqueous-alcoholic extract of mix of medicinal plants contain: Wheat grass rhizomes, peel of Onion, Semyon Pazhitnik, Birch leaves, Golden rod grass, Parsley root, grass of the Bird's mountaineer, grass of the Horsetail field, Lyubistok's root. In addition are a part of Phytolysinum: Nipagin And, Agar, Orange oil, Wheat starch, peppermint Oil, Sagy oil, Pine oil, Glycerin, Vanillin.
Indications to use of Phytolysinum
Use of Phytolysinum is shown in the following cases:
- Infectious and inflammatory diseases of urinary tract (cystitis, pyelonephritis, chronic calculous pyelonephritis);
- Treatment of an urolithiasis, especially in the presence of contraindications to its surgical treatment, and also prevention of its recurrence.
Contraindications
Drug is contraindicated at a glomerulonephritis and acute nefroza. According to the instruction Phytolysinum should not be applied at a phosphatic nefrourolitiaz. Pregnancy and a lactation are not contraindications to Phytolysinum.
Phytolysinum route of administration
Drug is accepted inside by three-four times a day on one teaspoon, having dissolved previously paste in half of glass of warm boiled water.
To children appoint Phytolysinum depending on age – from a quarter to a half of a teaspoon of paste to reception. According to reviews Phytolysinum can be parted in the sweetened water. In this case children drink the received solution more willingly.
Side effects
Use of Phytolysinum can lead to development of allergic reactions: skin itch, rash. According to reviews Phytolysinum very seldom can lead to emergence of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. At emergence of side effects treatment it is necessary to stop and see a doctor.
Phytolysinum analogs
Such drugs as phytolitas and Urolesanum possess action, similar to Phytolysinum. But their structure differs with structure of Phytolysinum. Therefore it is desirable to accept that drug which was appointed to you by the doctor.

Phytolysinum should be stored at the room temperature, in the place, unavailable to children. The term of its validity – three years.
