Pharmacological action of Sedalgin

Sedalgin contains phenobarbital which makes sedative impact on an organism, and also strengthens impact of analgetics on it. Caffeine which reduces a headache and intracranial pressure also is Sedalgin's part, improves cerebration and working capacity. Codeini phosphas which also is Sedalgin's part has sedative effect on an organism and improves analgesic effect which paracetamol and analginum give.

Sedalgin is issued in tablets of white color, a round form. In each packaging on 10 tablets.

Indications to Sedalgin's use

Sedalgin accept in the presence of such diseases as: migraine, neuritis, a dysmenorrhea, neurologic and catarrhal diseases which are followed by pain syndromes of average intensity. Also accept at the following types of pain: tooth, traumatic, postburn, head, rheumatic, postoperative pain.

Application instruction of Sedalgin

About one tablet from one to three times a day is recommended to accept inside.

For acceleration of action of Sedalgin it is necessary to crush a tablet and then to wash down ¼ glasses of warm water. Drug is accepted during food.

Side effects

Sedalgin quite seldom causes any allergic reactions after use, can cause dizziness, failure in work of a GIT and thrombocytopenia. If drug to accept long term, then it can negatively affect work of kidneys and a liver, to cause attacks of bronchial asthma. At the sharp termination of reception of Sedalgin the sudden headache can develop. At prolonged use of drug often there is a resistance to action of one of substances which is contained in it.
