Anemia pernicious (anemia perniciosa; an-– otritsa. a prefix + Greek haima – blood; lat. perniciosus – disastrous; synonyms: anemia is malignant, Addison-Birmera a disease, Birmera a disease) – the disease which is developing because of the insufficiency of cyanocobalamine caused by gastromucoprotein secretion disturbances, and shown hyperchromic anemia, signs of defeat of a nervous system (a funicular myelosis) and a digestive tract (a glossitis, atrophic gastritis).
