Binocular summation

Binocular summation (Latin bini – on two, couple + oculus – an eye; late lat. summatio – addition) – the physiological phenomenon which is that indicators of visual functions (visual acuity and so on) in the conditions of solid vision surpass the same indicators for each eye separately.
