Gaska-Rossa sympathectomy (G. E. Gask, English surgeon, 1875-1951; J.В. Ross; sympathectomia, anatomic pars sympathica – a sympathetic part of the autonomic nervous system + Greek ektome – removal, cutting) – surgery on removal of a cervicothoracic (star-shaped) ganglion (nerve knot) or crossing of its bonds with earlier carried out section of a front scalene.
