Viburkol
Application instruction:
Viburkol – cold homeopathic remedy.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form of drug – suppositories rectal from white till yellow-white color, a torpedo-shaped form, on longitudinal section existence of an air core is possible, have a specific slight smell (on 6 pieces in blister strip packagings, on 2 packagings in a cardboard pack).
The maintenance of the operating components in 1 suppository of Viburkol:
- Chamomilla recutita (a camomile pharmaceutical) D1 – 1,1 mg;
- Atropa bella-donna (a belladonna or a belladonna ordinary) D2 – 1,1 mg;
- Pulsatilla pratensis (a lumbago meadow) D2 – 2,2 mg;
- Plantago major (a plantain big) D3 – 1,1 mg;
- Solanum dulcamara (a nightshade bittersweet) D4 – 1,1 mg;
- Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni (kalkare of a karbonik) D8 – 4,4 mg.
Excipients: fat firm – 1089 mg (before obtaining mass of suppository of 1,1 g).
Indications to use
- For elimination of clinical manifestations at first dentition;
- As a part of complex therapy of acute respiratory viral infections at children as antiinflammatory and an antipyretic.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Suppositories are intended for rectal use.
The recommended dose for children up to 6 months – 1 suppository 2 times a day.
For children 6 months are more senior the daily dosage depends on body temperature:
- It is above 37,5 °C – on 1 suppository 4 times a day;
- It is above 38 °C – on 1 suppository 4 times a day.
At normalization of body temperature Viburkol's use is recommended to continue within 3-4 days on 1 suppository 1-2 times a day.
Side effects
Use of drug can become the reason of development of allergic reaction in the form of skin rash and an itch. At emergence of undesirable effects it is necessary to stop use of drug and to see the attending physician.
Special instructions
At the beginning of therapy by homeopathic medicines the aggravation of the available symptoms is possible. In case of an aggravation of symptoms of the child it is necessary to cancel therapy and to consult with the doctor.
Medicinal interaction
Use of homeopathic remedies, including Viburkol, does not exclude therapy by other medicines.
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the unavailable to children, protected from light place, at a temperature of 15-25 °C. To protect from influence of direct sunshine, an overheat and humidity!
