Aerosol for irrigation (in bottles on 30 or 45 ml, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack complete with a safety cap and a nozzle sprayer);
Solution for external use (in dark glass bottles on 50 or 100 ml, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack).

The structure of 1 ml of an aerosol for irrigation and 1 ml of solution for external use includes active agents:

Povidone-iodine – 85 mg;
Cordianine – 1 mg.

Indications to use

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of a throat and oral cavity (including an inflammation of a throat, language, an afta);
Quinsy (catarral, lacunary, follicular, caused by the strains showing sensitivity to effect of active agents) – along with antibiotic drugs;
Tonsillitis (chronic and acute);
First symptoms of flu.

Contraindications

Dekompensirovanny heart failure;
Hyperfunction of a thyroid gland;
Renal failure;
Therapy or diagnostic manipulations using a radioiodine (it is necessary to observe a break not less than 14 days);
Pregnancy and period of breastfeeding (lactation);
Age up to 6 years;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Route of administration and dosage

Йокс apply to processing of a throat and an oral cavity.

Frequency rate of use – 2-4 times a day (as much as possible – 6 times a day, observing intervals between procedures not less than 4 hours).

Before use of an aerosol it is necessary to remove a protective cap and to put on a nozzle sprayer. After trial 2-3 pressing the sprayer on 3-4 cm is entered into an oral cavity, close a mouth and do 2-3 irrigations in the left and right parties. The sprayer after use is recommended to be washed out carefully flowing water.

Йокс in the form of solution before use it is necessary to part with water in the ratio 1:20-1:40 (1/2 teaspoons of drug on 100 ml of water).

Side effects

As a rule, Yoks is transferred well. In some cases the side effects which are shown in the form of allergic reactions (including an itch, a hyperemia, a small tortoiseshell), feelings of dryness of mucous membranes and burning sensation in the place of use can develop. At development of these disturbances therapy is recommended to be interrupted.

Long treatment can lead to development of the iodism which is characterized by the increased salivation, hypostasis of a throat and a century, emergence of metal smack.

Special instructions

Йокс for intake it is not intended, it cannot be swallowed or inhaled.

At emergence of signs of an iodism it is necessary to interrupt therapy and to see a doctor.

Medicinal interaction

Simultaneous use of Yoks with other local antiseptic agents is not recommended.

To store in protected from light, the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 25 °C.
