Artrofoon
Application instruction:
Artrofoon – the antiinflammatory and immunomodulatory drug used at treatment of inflammatory and inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of a musculoskeletal system.
Form of release and structure
Artrofoon release in the form of white ploskotsilindrichesky tablets with a text of "MATERIA MEDICA" on one party and "ARTHROFON" – on another (on 20 pieces in blister strip packagings; on 50, 75 or 100 pieces in polymeric banks).
Structure of 1 tablet:
- Active agent: affinely the cleared antibodies to human ФНО-α – 3 mg;
- Auxiliary components: microcrystallic cellulose, magnesium stearate, lactose.
Indications to use
Artrofoon has analgeziruyushchy and antiinflammatory effect, improves a trophicity of fabrics, inhibits synthesis of mediators of an inflammation. Its use in a complex with other drugs allows to reduce terms of treatment and to lower dosages of other drugs appointed at diseases of joints.
Artrofoon appoint:
- Exacerbation of chronic inflammatory and degenerative diseases of joints, including an ankylosing spondylarthrosis, a pseudorheumatism, gouty and psoriasis arthritis, an osteoarthrosis (as monotherapy);
- Treatment of acute arthritises (as a part of complex therapy).
Contraindications
Artrofoon's use is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to the components which are a part of tablets.
Due to the lack of researches drug should not be used to children and teenagers up to 18 years.
To the feeding and pregnant women the possibility of reception of Artrofoon is defined by the doctor after assessment of a ratio of harm and advantage.
Route of administration and dosage
The one-time dosage of Artrofoon makes 2 tablets which need to be held in a mouth before full dissolution. Frequency rate of use – twice a day (in the morning after awakening and in the evening before going to bed). It is necessary to observe an interval between administration of drug and food. The recommended therapy duration – 6 months.
In the presence of the expressed pain syndrome in the first month of treatment it is recommended to increase frequency rate of use of Artrofoon to 4 times a day. After improvement of a state it is necessary to pass to the standard scheme of treatment gradually.
Side effects
During Artrofoon's use reactions of hypersensitivity to the components which are its part can develop.
In case of overdose development of the dispepsichesky phenomena is possible that is caused by the fillers which are a part of tablets.
Special instructions
Strengthening of therapeutic effect at simultaneous use of Artrofoon and NPVS is observed.
For 3-5 days of treatment there can be some strengthening of a pain syndrome, development of local inflammatory reactions is not excluded. At strongly expressed pains it is necessary to lower temporarily a dosage to 1-2 tablets a day.
Because of the lactose which is Artrofoon's part, its use is not recommended at an inborn galactosemia, a sprue of glucose or a galactose, and also in the presence of an inborn lactose intolerance.

On active agent of analogs of Artrofoon do not release.
