Pharmacological action

Two antibiotics of bactericidal action with synergy effect (strengthen action of each other at combined use) are Baneotsin's part is Neomycinum and bacitracin.

Neomycinum possesses antimicrobic action, and is active against a large number of gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms. Bacitracin works generally against gram-positive microorganisms - it is a clostridium, staphylococcus, the causative agent of diphtheria, a hemolitic streptococcus, a pale treponema; also actinomycetes, fuzobakteriya, some types of gram-negative microorganisms – a hemophilic stick, Neisseria are sensitive to it.

Baneotsin does not show activity against pseudo-monads, the majority of mushrooms, Nocardia, viruses.

Also ointment Baneotsin is effective for prevention, treatment of consecutive infections of wound sites, at various cosmetic procedures.

There are comments on Baneotsin as the drug which is used in gynecology and obstetrics for treatment of puerperal gaps and episiotomies and also after a laparotomy.

Ointment Baneotsin is used also for prevention, treatment of mastitis, therapy after paranasal sinuses operations, a mastoid.

Powder Baneotsin is applied in dermatology to prevention, by treatments of infections of bacterial character of integuments, superficial wounds, burns. Also powder Baneotsin is used after secondary bacterial infection at the herpes simplex, herpes surrounding to chicken pox.

Application instruction of Baneotsin

Contraindications
