Белогент

Белогент – the synthetic drug of external use for treatment of skin diseases having antibacterial and antiinflammatory effect.

Form of release and structure

External
• use cream: white, homogeneous, without mechanical inclusions (in aluminum tubas on 15, 20, 30 or 40 g, in a cardboard pack 1 tuba);
• Ointment for external use: in the form of translucent white homogeneous substance (in aluminum tubas on 15, 20, 30 or 40 g, in a cardboard pack 1 tuba).

Active ingredients in 1 g of drugs of Belogent:

• Betamethasone – 0,5 mg (renders antiinflammatory, anti-proliferative, antiallergic and antipruritic action);
• Gentamycin – 1 mg (has bactericidal effect concerning the majority of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms).

Excipients:

• Cream: dihydrophosphate sodium monohydrate, chlorocresol, phosphoric acid, paraffin white soft, liquid paraffin, a macrogoal цетостеарат, cetostearyl alcohol (40% of stearyl alcohol, 60% of cetyl alcohol), sodium hydroxide, the water purified;
• Ointment: paraffin white soft, liquid paraffin.

Indications to use

Belogent's use is shown at a dermatosis, allergic and inflammatory diseases of skin (including complicated by a bacterial infection) at which therapy by topical glucocorticosteroid drugs is effective.

Белогент apply at treatment of the following diseases:

• Impetigo;
• Atopic, contact, allergic and seborrheal dermatitis;
• Phlebotodermia;
• Anogenitalny itch;
• Diffusion neurodermatitis;
• The infected dermatitis, including developing as a result of a sting of insects;
• Eczemas;
• Psoriasis;
• Red flat deprive.

Contraindications

• Skin postvaccinal reactions;
• Viral infections of skin;
• Vulgar eels;
• Skin displays of syphilis;
• Trophic ulcers;
• Tuberculosis cutis;
• Rozatsea;
• Open wounds;
• Chicken pox;
• Hypersensitivity to gentamycin, betamethasone or to other components of cream or ointment.

It is not recommended it is long to apply at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation, and also to apply cream or ointment on extensive sites of skin.

Route of administration and dosage

Belogent's use is recommended twice a day. It is necessary to apply funds on an affected area of skin with a thin layer and to rub slightly. In elbows, palms and feet drugs can be used more often.

The effect is shown at treatment duration for a month. After disappearance of symptoms it is recommended not to interrupt treatment still some time not to allow a recurrence.

Cream of Belogent is applied to therapy of the acute and becoming wet damages of skin, ointment – to treatment of a subacute and chronic dermatosis, including the dry, lichenified and shelled defeats.

Drug at children can be used with care aged from 1 year. Prolonged use is not recommended, especially when using under diapers or an occlusive bandage to exclude system side effects which can cause the active agents which are a part of drug.

Side effects

Белогент it is transferred well, side effects usually have slight character. Most often the itch, striya, burning, aknepodobny changes, a hyperemia, a hypertrichosis, hypopigmentation, an atrophy of skin, a teleangiectasia can develop. At emergence of these undesirable reactions use of cream or ointment is recommended to be stopped.

Special instructions

Белогент it is not recommended it is long to apply on face skin because of increase in risk of development of perioral dermatitis, a rozatse and an acne.

It is not necessary to apply drug on such body parts as inguinal folds and axillary hollows which are more subject to risk of emergence of striya.

At fungal microflora on skin additional use of antifungal means is required.

It is impossible to apply cream and ointment of Belogent in eyes as the probability of hit of funds for a mucous membrane is high. It can become the reason of development of glaucoma, cataract, fungal infections of an eye and aggravation of a herpes infection.

Period of storage of cream and ointment – 4 years.
