Budesonid Izikheyler

Budesonid Izikheyler – a glucocorticosteroid (GKS) for intranasal, inhalation and topical administration making the antiallergic, antiinflammatory and anti-exudative impact leading to decrease in bronchial obstruction at inhalation use.

Form of release and structure

Budesonid Izikheyler is issued in the form of powder for inhalations of dosed. Active ingredient of drug – будесонид. One dose contains 200 mkg of a budesonid.

In a pack of cardboard 200 doses in the laminated packages from aluminum foil and the dosing inhaler (1 piece).

Indications to use

Drug is used for treatment:

• It is inhalation: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchial asthma;
• Orally: diseases Krone with involvement of the ascending and/or ileal colon (for induction and maintenance of remission at easy and medium-weight forms);
• Intranazalno: seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.

Contraindications

The general contraindication for Budesonid Izikheyler's use is hypersensitivity to a budesonid.

Depending on a route of administration divide contraindications for:

• Inhalations: fungal infections of a respiratory organs, a pulmonary tuberculosis in an active form;
• Oral administration: viral, bacterial, amoebic and fungal infections of a GIT, an abnormal liver function in a severe form, children's age;
• Intranasal injection: bacterial, fungal, viral infections and/or tuberculosis of a respiratory organs.

Route of administration and dosage

The scheme of administration of drug is defined by the attending physician depending on a disease, age of the patient and a route of administration.

Side effects

Budesonid Izikheyler in the form of inhalations can cause: irritation of a mucous nose, throat and oral cavity, candidiasis, a dysphonia, nausea, cough, pharyngitis, and at hypersensitivity – a bronchospasm.

At oral administration the following side effects from systems and bodies are possible:

• Cardiovascular system, systems of a hemopoiesis and hemostasis: the increased risk of a thrombogenesis, increase in arterial pressure, a withdrawal after long treatment (vasculitis);
• Nervous system: euphoria, depression, irritability, cataract, glaucoma;
• Musculoskeletal system: osteoporosis, muscular weakness, aseptic necrosis of bones (head humeral and femoral);
• Bodies of a GIT: pancreatitis, a duodenal ulcer, pain in epigastriums, the dispeptic phenomena;
• Endocrine organs: decrease in tolerance to glucose, a diabetes mellitus, a hypopotassemia, a sodium delay with formation of hypostases, an atrophy of bark of adrenal glands or decrease in their function; disturbance of secretion of sex hormones – a hirsutism, an amenorrhea, impotence; Cushing's syndrome, including trunk obesity, crescent-shaped face;
• Integuments: deterioration in healing of wounds, steroid eels, contact dermatitis, red striya, allergic dieback, ecchymoma, petechias;
• Other: the increased risk of infectious diseases.

Intranasal use of a budesonid can become the reason: irritations and/or burnings mucous nose, sneezing, candidiasis.

Special instructions

Drug should be taken with caution at a pulmonary tuberculosis and chicken pox.

Drug should not be used for stopping of bad attacks of suffocation at bronchial asthma and treatments of intermittent asthma.

Replacement of system glucocorticosteroid funds for inhalations should be made gradually.

During pregnancy to use drug it is allowed only if the potential advantage for mother considerably exceeds estimated risk for a fruit.

At use of drug in the period of a lactation, it is necessary to stop breastfeeding.

Safety and efficiency of use Budesonida Izikheylera is not studied by children under 7 years.

Reception drug does not influence ability to be engaged in the types of activity demanding the increased speed of response and concentration of attention.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 30 °C.

Period of validity – 3 years. After packaging opening – 6 months.
