The author of a diet "Tag" is the Ukrainian nutritionist and the doctor Oleg Tern. Its main objective – improvement of an organism and change of eating habits on healthier. The diet represents a power supply system which can adhere all life, adapting under the changing conditions and specific features of an organism.

The diet "Tag" received the name because of visual similarity of the table for drawing up the day menu with the children's game "tag". The field of the menu is broken into 16 identical cells, at the same time each horizontal number of the field represents a set of products for one meal, all of meals 4.

Every color in the field of the menu designates a certain type of products:

  • green – vegetables (crude, thermally processed, fermented and tinned), greens, mushrooms;
  • yellow – fruit and berries;
  • orange – potatoes, flour products and macaroni from firm grades of wheat, rye and whole-grain bread, porridges;
  • red – low-fat meat, an offal, eggs, seafood, cottage cheese and bean;
  • blue – dairy and fermented milk products of small fat content (except cottage cheese), drinks.

Rules of a diet "Tag":

  • being guided by the list of products (depending on color) offered in the field of the menu it is necessary to make own day diet. At the same time it is possible to exclude products which are not pleasant, to replace one product with another within the same color (the same group);
  • the serving size corresponds to fist volume. There is no need to try to obtain pharmaceutical accuracy if the volume of food is slightly more or slightly less, it not essentially. In grams such portion for the woman makes 140-160 g, for the man – 200-220 g;
  • heat treatment of dishes has to be dietary: boiling, suppression, roasting, processing the ferry, preparation on a grill;
  • in a daily diet there have to be crude vegetables and fruit;
  • it is necessary to drink a lot of clear water. In "Tag" the exact amount of liquid which needs to be drunk as it is an individual indicator is not regulated. Doctor Tern recommends to be guided by color of urine – ideally it has to be colourless. The nasyshchenny color of urine, the more organism needs liquid;
  • daily it is necessary to be engaged in physical exercises;
  • one of days of the week can be planned for "zigzag" – this day it is allowed to indulge himself with the prohibited product.

The diet of "Tag" is various, there are no strict restrictions, and, above all, the diet is built individually and considers all requirements of an organism. The only lack of a diet "Tag" it is possible to call need of drawing up the daily menu. However it presents some difficulty only in the first days, then the corresponding skills are gained and considering of the menu stops being inconvenience. And for many it is not minus, and on the contrary, brings a creativity element in a diet.

It is recommended to be weighed every morning on an empty stomach at the same time after visit of a toilet. Results of weighing should be entered in the diary. The current weight corresponds to average value in 3-4 days. If there is no opportunity to be weighed daily, it is necessary to do it 2-3 times a week. If there is no desirable dynamics, it is worth modifying a diet.

There are no contraindications to a diet "Tag" as the diet forms taking into account specific features. It is desirable for the people having chronic diseases to make the menu, in view of recommendations of the attending physician.

What products are resolved?

  • meat: any low-fat, offal;
  • bird: low-fat parts of any bird;
  • fish: any fresh;
  • seafood;
  • eggs;
  • the dairy and fermented milk products (which are not containing flavoring additives and fillers);
  • bean: all types of haricot, beans, lentil, chick-pea, маш, soy, peas;
  • vegetables in any kind, including tinned, mushrooms;
  • nuts and sunflower seeds: any;
  • porridges from any grain (including a manna);
  • pasta from firm grades of wheat;
  • flour products from coarse flour, whole-grain and rye, unleavened bread (an unleavened wheat cake, pita);
  • fruit and berries in any kind;
  • drinks: water, tea, coffee, juice, compotes;
  • fats: vegetable oil.

What products are prohibited?

The diet "Tag" does not exclude completely any type of products as even obviously harmful (fast food, fat, smoked, etc.) are admissible during "zigzags".

Exclude sugar, the food fried in oil, fat and high-calorific dishes, bananas, grapes, potatoes, fruit drinks and kissels from a daily diet. Products from blue group should be limited.

Council 1. If at observance of all recommendations within 2-3 weeks there is no shift in weight, it is possible to add one more meal. It is necessary to make the menu for it according to the scheme of a breakfast, lunch or dinner depending on time of day.
