Pharmacological properties of Enterodesum
On a structure drug is low-molecular polyvinylpirrolidone. Molecular weight its same, as well as at Enterodesum analog – Haemodesum, only Enterodesum is intended for intake. It is well dissolved in water. Drug is not soaked up in blood, works in intestines, connecting toxins, decomposition products and life activities of disease-producing bacteria. Drug is not metabolized in an organism, removed through intestines from an organism together with the connected toxins.
The medical effect of use of Enterodesum occurs 15-30 minutes later after receipt inside.

According to the instruction Enterodesum is released in powder for solution preparation inside, in packages on 5 g.
Indications
Drug is used for desintoxication in cases of toxic damage of a digestive tract infectious activators. Food toxicoinfections, dysentery, salmonellosis, эшерихиоз, etc. concern to them. Enterodesum received positive reviews as means for fight against endogenous intoxication in cases of a liver and renal failure when the organism does not cope with removal of toxic products of exchange. Drug is used also at aggravations of a chronic coloenteritis and enteritis.
Contraindications
According to the instruction Enterodesum is not recommended to apply in case of hypersensitivity to its compound components. Data on safety of use of means for pregnant women and in the period of a lactation are not received therefore the advantage of use of Enterodesum for this group of patients has to exceed possible danger to a fruit and the child. Do not use means at children 1 years are younger.
Application instruction of Enterodesum
This means is intended for intake. As it has the expressed adsorbing properties, between its reception and other drugs, and also food, there has to be an interval of not less than 1-2 hours.
From powder of Enterodesum it is necessary to prepare solution for intake. For this purpose it is parted in cold boiled water, on 1 bag there is enough 100 ml of liquid. If there are indications to Enterodesum at a disease of children, for improvement of flavoring properties of drug to solution recommend to add fruit juice or sugar. Ready solution is stored in the refrigerator not longer by 3 days.
The medicine dose for adults makes 100 ml of Enterodesum from 1 to 3 times a day. The course of reception depends on expressiveness of symptoms of a disease, on average it lasts 2-7 days.
To children 1 years a dose of drug are more senior expect body weight, appointing 0,3 g/kg/days. Aged from 1 up to 3 years it will make 50 ml 2 times a day, from 4 to 6 years of 50 ml 3 times a day, from 7 to 10 years of 100 ml 2 times a day, from 11 to 14 years on 100 ml 3 times a day.
Side effects
According to reviews Enterodesum very seldom causes such reactions as nausea or vomiting. They pass without treatment and do not demand cancellation of means. As well as analogs, Enterodesum it is capable to cause allergic reactions.
