Kofitsil-Plus

Kofitsil-Plus – the combined analgeziruyushchy means with antiinflammatory and febrifugal action.

Form of release and structure

Dosage form – tablets: ploskotsilindrichesky, color, white or white with a cream shade, the mramornost of coloring and a slight smell, mass of 0,6 g is possible (on 6 or 10 pieces in planimetric bezjyacheykovy packagings, on 10 pieces in blister strip packagings, without investment in a pack or on 1-2 planimetric cell or bezjyacheykovy packagings in a cardboard pack).

Active agents as a part of 1 tablet:

• Acetylsalicylic acid – 0,3 g;
• Paracetamol – 0,1 g;
• Caffeine – 0,05 g.

Additional (inactive) components: polyvinylpirrolidone (povidone), stearic acid, magnesium stearate, aerosil, talc, potato starch, methyl cellulose.

Indications to use

Kofitsil-Plus – drug for stopping of a moderate and slight pain syndrome.

• Arthralgia;
• Lumbago;
• Algodismenorey.

To adults and teenagers 15 years drug are more senior appoint for decrease in the increased body temperature at infectious and inflammatory diseases, including at ORZ (acute respiratory diseases) and flu.

Contraindications

Absolute:

• Aggravation of erosive cankers of digestive tract;
• The stratified aortic aneurysm;
• Portal hypertensia;
• Heavy course of coronary heart disease;
• Organic diseases of cardiovascular system (arterial hypertension, frequent ventricular premature ventricular contraction, Bouveret's disease, acute myocardial infarction);
• "Aspirinovy" asthma;
• The expressed abnormal liver functions or kidneys, a renal failure;
• Deficit of vitamin K;
• Deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
• Hemophilia;
• Hemorrhagic diathesis (prothrombinopenia, teleangiectasias, thrombocytopenia, hemophilias, Werlhof's disease, angiohemophilia);
• Glaucoma;
• Alarming and panic frustration (including agoraphobia, sleep disorders);
• The surgical interventions which are followed by bleeding;
• I and III trimesters of pregnancy;
• Lactation (or feeding should be stopped);
• Age up to 18 years – as anesthetic, up to 15 years – as an antipyretic at the acute respiratory diseases caused by viral infections (risk of development of a syndrome of Ray);
• Hypersensitivity to drug components, xanthines or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NPVP).

Relative (drug is used with care, in connection with the increased risk of complications):

• Gout;
• Peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut in the anamnesis;
• Liver diseases;
• Uratny nephrolithiasis;
• Hyperuricemia;
• Dekompensirovanny heart failure;
• II trimester of pregnancy.

Route of administration and dosage

Kofitsil-Plus it is necessary to accept inside, it is desirable after food, washing down with alkaline mineral water, milk or drinking water.

To adults and teenagers 15 years are more senior appoint 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, but no more than 6 tablets a day. The interval between receptions has to make not less than 4 hours, at abnormal liver functions or kidneys – 6 hours.

Treatment duration depending on the drug use purpose: for stopping of a pain syndrome – up to 5 days, for decrease in the increased body temperature – no more than 3 days.

If necessary the doctor can appoint other schemes of therapy.

Side effects

• From digestive tract: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, gastralgia, gastrointestinal bleedings, digestive tract erosive cankers, liver and/or renal failure;
• From cardiovascular system: tachycardia, increase in arterial pressure;
• Allergic reactions: skin rash, bronchospasm, Quincke's edema.

At prolonged use of drug are possible: a headache, dizziness, a sonitus, deafness, vision disorders, hypocoagulation, decrease in aggregation of thrombocytes, a hemorrhagic syndrome (a purpura, bleeding of gums, nasal bleeding, etc.), damage of kidneys with a papillary necrosis, a toxic epidermal necrolysis, Stephens-Johnson's syndrome, Ray's syndrome at children (abnormal liver functions, vomiting, disturbances from a nervous system and mentality, a metabolic acidosis, a hyper pyrexia).

Special instructions

During treatment it is necessary to refrain from alcohol intake as ethanol increases risk of development of gastrointestinal bleeding.

At long therapy it is necessary to control peripheral blood and a functional condition of a liver.

Acetylsalicylic acid has anti-aggregation property (i.e. interferes with aggregation of thrombocytes and slows down a blood coagulation) therefore in case of planned surgery the patient has to warn the doctor in advance that accepts Kofitsil-Plus.

The acetylsalicylic acid accepted in low doses reduces removal of uric acid that can cause a gout attack.

Acetylsalicylic acid possesses teratogenic action. Use of drugs on its basis in the I trimester of pregnancy leads to such malformation as splitting of the upper sky, in the III trimester – to braking of patrimonial activity, closing of an arterial channel at a fruit owing to what the hyperplasia of pulmonary vessels and hypertensia in vessels of a small circle of blood circulation develops. For this reason in the first and last trimesters of pregnancy of Kofitsil-Plus it is strictly contraindicated, in the second trimester it can be applied only if the expected advantage of therapy exceeds possible risks.

In case of administration of drug by the woman during feeding by a breast dysfunction of thrombocytes at the child and, as a result, developing of bleeding is possible.

Medicinal interaction

Kofitsil-Plus it is not recommended to apply along with antiepileptic means, barbiturates, rifampicin, a zidovudine, ethanol and other stimulators of a microsomal oxidation as the risk of development of hepatotoxic effect increases.

Paracetamol by 5 times increases a chloramphenicol elimination half-life.

Caffeine accelerates ergotamine absorption.

Metoclopramidum accelerates paracetamol absorption.

At repeated reception paracetamol can strengthen effect of the anticoagulants which are to Dicumarinum derivatives.

It must be kept in mind that Kofitsil-Plus:

• Strengthens effect of indirect anticoagulants, hypoglycemic means, steroid hormones, Reserpinum, heparin;
• Reduces efficiency of the antigouty drugs promoting removal of uric acid, antihypertensives, furosemide, Spironolactonum;
• Strengthens side effects of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, non-narcotic analgesics derivative of sulphonylurea, glucocorticosteroids, a methotrexate.

To store in the place, unavailable to children. Not to subject to influence of light and moisture.

Period of validity – 2 years.
