Kolibakterin dry
Application instruction:
Kolibakterin dry – microbic drug with antagonistic effect of colibacillus concerning salmonellas, shigellas, a protea and other opportunistic or pathogenic microbes.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form – lyophilisate for preparation of suspension for intake: porous or crystal weight with a specific smell, can have yellowish, beige or whitish-gray color (on 2, 3 or 5 doses in a bottle, in a cardboard pack of 10 bottles).
Active ingredient – active strains of colibacillus, 1 dose live antagonistic contains 10х109 live microbes.
Indications to use
Kolibakterin dry is shown for use in complex therapy:
- Chronic and long dysentery;
- Dysbacteriosis of various genesis;
- Chronic diseases of digestive tract (nonspecific and specific chronic colitis and coloenterites with heavy dispeptic disturbances);
- Rehabilitation (recovery of microflora) of the patient after acute intestinal infections.
Contraindications
Use of drug is contraindicated:
- Patients with specific and nonspecific ulcer colitis;
- Age up to 6 months.
Route of administration and dosage
Suspension is accepted inside in 30-40 minutes prior to meal.
For preparation of drug it is necessary to open a bottle, to part its contents with boiled cold water from calculation one teaspoon (5 ml) on one dose of lyophilisate. After dissolution within 5 minutes solution of muddy structure with a specific smell is formed.
It is necessary to prepare drug just before each reception, suspension is not subject to storage.
Daily dosing and the period of treatment is appointed by the doctor on the basis of clinical indications, considering weight, duration of a disease and degree of manifestation of dysbacteriosis.
The recommended daily dosing has age restrictions:
- Babies from 6 months to 1 year: 2-4 doses;
- Children of 1-3 years: 4-8 doses;
- Patients are more senior than 3 years: 6-12 doses.
Reception of a daily dose can be divided into 2-3 times.
In need of a repeated course of therapy, Kolibakterin's use dry can be appointed in 3-6 months after the preliminary research of microflora of digestive tract.
Side effects
Suspension use usually does not cause side effects in patients.
In the course of treatment, in rare instances, emergence of easy forms of dispepsichesky frustration which do not demand purpose of additional treatment or cancellation of administration of drug is possible and pass in itself.
In case of the expressed reaction of the patient to drug it is necessary to stop temporarily reception or to consider a question of expediency of cancellation of treatment.

In breaks in the course of treatment by the patient reception lakto-or bifidosoderzhashchy drugs is shown.
Medicinal interaction
Use of drug is not recommended to be combined with carrying out chemotherapy and/or co-administration of antibiotics.
