Legalonum
Application instruction:
Legalonum – hepatoprotective drug with the disintoxication and stimulating regeneration action.
Form of release and structure
Dosage forms:
- Legalonum capsules 140: the size No. 1, gelatinous, firm structure, with a lid and the case of brown color, in capsules – yellow powder (on 10 pieces in blisters, in a cardboard pack of 2, 3 or 6 blisters);
- The Legalonum capsules 70 (on 10 pieces in a blister strip packaging, in a cardboard pack of 2, 3 or 6 packagings);
- Dragee Legalonum 70 (on 10 pieces in a blister strip packaging, in a cardboard pack 2 or 4 packagings).
Active ingredient – dry extract of fruits of a thistle spotty:
- 1 capsule No. 1 – 173-186,7 mg that ravnoznachno140 mg of Silymarinum and in terms of Silibininum – 108,2 mg;
- 1 capsule (Legalonum 70) – 86,5-93,35 mg that 70 mg of Silymarinum and in terms of Silibininum – 54,1 mg are equivalent;
- 1 dragees (Legalonum 70) – 90 mg that 70 mg of Silymarinum and 30 mg (at least) of Silibininum are equivalent.
Auxiliary components of capsules No. 1: povidone, polysorbate 80, Mannitolum, magnesium stearate, sodium carboxymethylstarch (type A).
Structure of a cover of capsules No. 1: titanium dioxide (E171), dye ferrous oxide red (E172), dye ferrous oxide black (E172), sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin.
Indications to use
Use of all forms of Legalonum is shown for treatment and prevention of toxic damages of a liver of various genesis:
- Organism intoxication compounds of heavy metals and/or galogensoderzhashchy hydrocarbons;
- Poisoning with medicines;
- Alcoholism.
Besides, Legalonum 70 in the form of capsules and a dragee is appointed the patient with a chronic form of inflammatory diseases of a liver and cirrhosis in the form of a maintenance therapy.
Contraindications
Use of capsules and dragee is contraindicated to patients with hypersensitivity to drug components.
It is impossible to appoint the Legalonum capsules 140 at pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Route of administration and dosage
Capsules and a dragee accept inside, after food, swallowing entirely and washing down with enough water.
The recommended dosing for initial therapy and severe forms of intoxication – on 1 capsule or 2 dragees 3 times a day. Then the patient is transferred to reception of a maintenance dose – 1 capsule 2 times a day or 1 dragee 3 times a day.
Side effects
In rare instances use of Legalonum can cause side effects in the form of diarrhea.
Against the background of reception of capsules development of allergic reactions is possible.
Special instructions
At patients with cirrhosis use of Silibininum promotes increase in survival.
Patients with a diabetes mellitus should appoint drug in the form of solution without the maintenance of a dextrose.
Medicinal interaction
Clinically significant interaction of Silibininum with other medicines is not established.

To store at a temperature up to 30 °C in the place, unavailable to children.
