Metabolic diet – a power supply system which principle of action is based on acceleration of a metabolism in an organism. Sometimes restrictions in food and intensive exercise stresses do not help to get rid of extra kilos, in such cases the metabolic diet becomes the real rescue.

This power supply system is directed to normalization of a hormonal background and acceleration of a metabolism. The diet is developed so that to regulate allocation of two groups of hormones, each of which influences fatty deposits in an organism. As a result the level of insulin and estrogen, responsible for accumulation of fatty tissue decreases, and the amount of adrenaline, noradrenaline and testosterone which burn fat increases. Thanks to such processes the available fatty deposits are spent, and new do not collect any more.

According to the principles of a metabolic diet, all products are divided into 5 groups depending on the content of carbohydrates. At the same time points – from 0 to 4 are appropriated to each group of products. At all stages of a diet in accurately specified time it is necessary to eat dishes from a certain group of products.

The metabolic diet consists of three stages:

1. The first stage – fat-burning. Its duration makes two weeks during which there is an intensive weight reduction. At this time at a diet there have to be only products from a zero group. Except them every day it is necessary to use 1 tablespoon of olive oil. If it was not succeeded to achieve weight reduction at this stage, it is necessary to take a 15-day break and then again to repeat a stage.

At the first stage of a metabolic diet it is recommended to accept fermental drugs for the prevention of a meteorism.

2. The second stage – the normalizing weight. Its duration is not limited. Loss of kilograms continues, but already not so quickly, as at the first stage. The power supply circuit during this period looks as follows:

  • The first breakfast (during the period from 8:00 till 10:00) – a dish on 4 points;
  • The second breakfast (during the period from 11:00 till 12:00) – a dish on 2 points;
  • Lunch (during the period from 14:00 till 15:00) – a dish on 2 points;
  • Afternoon snack (during the period from 16:00 till 18:00) – a dish on 1 point;
  • Dinner (during the period from 18:00 till 20:00) – a dish on 0 points.

3. The third stage – the fixing weight. Its purpose – to exclude a set of weight after end of a diet. At this stage about 1 point is recommended to add to each meal, except a dinner. If weight continues to be lost, it is possible to add 1 more point a day, except a dinner.

The metabolic diet is effective at observance of the following rules:

  • Refusal of fried, smoked dishes and semi-finished products;
  • The use of food not less than 5 times a day in the small portions;
  • Slow meal with a careful chewing of each piece; during food it is impossible to distract and talk.

Points for each meal are calculated as follows. For example, the dish from 4 points is specified. The first option – one product from the list 4-mark and some products in 0 points. The second option – two products from the list 2-mark, at will it is possible to add products to 0 points. The third option – one product in 3 points and one product in 1 point if there is a wish, can be added products from the list to 0 points.

The undoubted advantage of a metabolic diet – its efficiency even when other diets are impotent. What products are resolved?

At each stage of a metabolic diet for drawing up the menu products with a certain number of points are chosen:

  • 0 points: chicken breast, meat of a rabbit, a turkey, eggs, fish, seafood, milk products with fat content is less than 2%, mushrooms, fresh vegetables, green peas, a lime, a lemon, greens, garlic, onions, spices, apple and grape cider vinegar;
  • 1 point: natural vegetable juice, berries and haricot;
  • 2 points: bread with bran, olives, boiled beet and carrots, fruit, chicken meat, mutton, beef, an offal, dairy products with fat content of 2-4%, feta, nuts, sunflower seeds, muesli, porridge, rice, buckwheat and avocado;
  • 3 points: natural fruit juice, yogurt, processed cheese and cheese of firm grades, millet, dark chocolate;
  • 4 points: pork, goose meat, duck's flesh, dairy products fat content is more than 4%, semolina, potatoes, bread, sweets, canned food, mayonnaise, store juice, beer, alcoholic and carbonated drinks.

What products are prohibited?

All products which were not included into the list of resolved belong to prohibited.

Menu

Example of the menu of a metabolic diet at the first stage:

First breakfast

Option 1: the baked chicken breast, green peas, tea without sugar.

Option 2: an omelet from three eggs, fresh vegetables salad, still mineral water.

Second breakfast

Option 1: a bar from bran, low-fat milk (200 ml).

Option 2: skim cheese, tea with a lemon slice without sugar.

Lunch

Option 1: soup on fast broth with addition of a root of a celery, onions, broccoli, a white cabbage, greens of a basil and arugula, boiled meat of a rabbit, fresh vegetables salad.

Option 2: low-fat fish broth with addition of onions and greens, ragout from champignons with spices, 1 fresh cucumber.

Afternoon snack

Option 1: a piece of the fish steamed tinned green peas.

Option 2: the salad from a laminaria filled with small cut garlic grated by horse-radish and lemon juice.

Dinner

Option 1: the fillet of a turkey baked in a foil, boiled broccoli.

Option 2: chicken breast boiled, paprika and tomatoes salad.

Example of the menu of a metabolic diet at the second stage:

First breakfast

Option 1: the chicken breast boiled on couple (100 g), buckwheat cereal (100 g), sandwich from bread with bran and a slice of cheese, milk of 2% of fat content (200 ml).

Option 2: boiled potatoes (50 g), green peas tinned, tea with honey.

Second breakfast

Option 1: the cup of bran which is filled in with 100 ml of low-fat kefir.

Option 2: kefir of 1% (200 ml), walnuts (100 g).

Lunch

Option 1: the fillet of a turkey baked in a foil (100 g), siliculose haricot, broccoli, carrots soup and greens of a celery, fresh vegetables greens salad.

Option 2: boiled chicken fillet (100 g), potatoes and mushrooms soup (150 g), salad from tomatoes and cheese feta.

Afternoon snack

Option 1: two boiled eggs, kefir of 1% (200 ml).

Option 2: the fillet of a rabbit baked with carrots (150 g), skim milk (200 ml).

Dinner

Option 1: the low-fat fish steamed fresh vegetables greens salad.

Option 2: the seafood filled with lemon juice, tea without sugar.

Useful tips

Council 1: At the first stage of a metabolic diet it is recommended to accept fermental drugs for the prevention of a meteorism.
