Mycosolonum
Application instruction:
Mycosolonum – the outside combined medicine with antifungal, antiinflammatory and antibacterial action.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form of Mycosolonum – ointment for external use (on 15 g in tubas, on 1 tuba in a cardboard pack).
Active ingredients are a part of 1 tuba:
- Miconazolum – 20 mg;
- Hydrochloride of a mazipredon – 2,5 mg.
Auxiliary components: cetostearyl alcohol, methylparahydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 60, propylene glycol, liquid paraffin, the purified water.
Indications to use
- The mycoses proceeding in combination with the superinfection caused by gram-positive bacteria;
- The fungus diseases of nails and skin proceeding with the expressed itch and an inflammation.
Contraindications
- Precancerous diseases and tumors of skin;
- Herpes infection;
- Tuberculosis cutis;
- Natural and chicken pox;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Cream Mycosolonum is intended for external use.
The recommended dosing mode depending on localization of an infection (with frequency rate of use 2 times a day):
- Skin infections: drug is applied with a thin layer on affected areas of skin;
- Nails: apply in the form of an occlusive bandage after removal of the struck segments of nails; therapy is continued continuously to a complete recovery (regeneration) of a nail plate;
- Ears: in the form of the turundas impregnated with drug which administers in outside acoustical pass.
On average duration of a course of treatment – from 2 to 5 weeks.
Side effects
Disturbances during therapy by Mycosolonum were not revealed.
Special instructions
Before putting cream on the affected nails it is recommended to cut off them most shortly.
Therapy needs to be continued also after rejection of the affected nail, on average – 2-3 months (to an absolute recovery).
Medicinal interaction
Data on interaction of Mycosolonum with other drugs are not submitted.
Terms and storage conditions
To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature of 8-15 °C.
Period of validity – 2 years.
