Отипакс
Application instruction:
Отипакс – the local drug for use in the LOR-expert having antiinflammatory and mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect.
Form of release and structure
Dosage form of release of Otipaks – a drop ear: transparent, yellowish color or colourless, have an alcohol smell (in dark glass bottles on 16 g, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack complete with the dropper placed in the blister).
Active ingredients as a part of 100 mg of drops:
- Phenazone – 4 mg;
- Lidocaine hydrochloride – 1 mg.
Additional components: sodium thiosulphate, глицерол, ethanol, water.
Indications to use
Отипакс appoint for anesthesia and for the purpose of symptomatic topical treatment of the following diseases:
- The otitis proceeding in the form of a complication after flu;
- Average otitis in an acute current at the time of an inflammation;
- Aviation otitis.
Contraindications
- Perforation of a tympanic membrane;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Отипакс, previously warmed in palms, it is necessary to dig in in outside acoustical pass.
The recommended dosing mode: a single dose – 3-4 drops, frequency rate of use – 2-3 times a day, course duration – up to 10 days.
Side effects
Possible side effects: hyperemia and irritation of acoustical pass, allergic reactions.
Special instructions
One of the active agents which are Otipaks's part at a drug test can give positive test.
Before purpose of drops it is necessary to be convinced that the tympanic membrane is not injured. In case of Otipaks's use at a perforated tympanic membrane the complication owing to contact of active ingredients with components of system of a middle ear can be observed.

To store in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature up to 30 °C.
Period of validity – 5 years.
