Segidrin – the drug possessing antineoplastic action.
Pharmacological action of Segidrin
Active agent of Segidrin – a hydrazine sulfate, possesses the expressed antineoplastic and symptomatic action at treatment of malignant new growths in far come stages. Segidrin according to the instruction has no miyelodepressivny effect.
Symptomatic effect of drug is shown in cases of treatment locally-spread and eurysynusic in any body or in all body of forms of malignant tumors. At Segidrin's use elimination or decrease in a pain syndrome (in certain cases – is observed up to refusal of drugs), reduction of weakness, an asthma, cough and the other phenomena of respiratory insufficiency, fever, and also increase in a physical activity and improvement of appetite.
Release form
Segidrin produce in a dosage form of coated tablets, 60 mg everyone. On 10 and 50 pieces in packaging.
Sigedrin's analog on the mechanism of action is the drug Natulanum.
Indications to Segidrin's use
Segidrin according to the instruction appoint to patients at the progressing inoperable forms of malignant new growths (locally-spread and disseminated), and also in case of a recurrence and a metastasis of malignant tumors, namely at:
- Primary tumors of a brain (glioblastoma, astrocytoma);
- Lung cancer;
- Lymphogranulomatosis;
- To neuroblastoma;
- Cancer of mammary glands;
- To lymphosarcoma;
- Pancreatic cancer, stomach and other bodies of digestive tract;
- Throat cancer;
- To sarcoma of soft tissues, fibrosarcoma;
- Endometrial cancer, necks of uterus, desmoidny cancer.
Contraindications
According to the instruction Sigedrin it is contraindicated to apply at individual intolerance of active ingredient or auxiliary components of drug.
At the expressed disturbances of functions of kidneys and a liver Segidrin according to reviews appoint with care.
Route of administration of Segidrin
Drug is appointed for intake in one-two hours prior to or in one-two hours after food or reception of other medicines. Segidrin accept on 1 tablet 3 times a day.
At reduced portability about 2 tablets in day are recommended to reduce a dose.
The course of reception of Segidrin and analog of drug makes 100 tablets.
A repeated course is conducted after a two-week break. The number of courses is not limited, at the same time intervals increase by one-two weeks.
The possibility of use of Segidrin in pediatrics, and also at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation was not studied.
According to the instruction Segidrin it is possible to accept at jaundice which is caused by metastasises in a liver, and also at the cytopenia which arose owing to beam and chemotherapy.
Reception of barbiturates and alcoholic beverages sharply increases toxicity of treatment by Segidrin and an analog of drug.
Side effects
At Segidrin's use the dispepsichesky phenomena, such as nausea, the vomiting or an eructation passing at a dose decline or a short-term break in administration of drug (two-three days) are according to reviews possible. In these cases appoint inside the antiinflammatory and knitting medicines (Romasulonum, camomile infusion, Vicalinum), antiemetic drugs (cerucal, a pyridoxine) and spasmolysants.
At long reception of Segidrin such neurotoxic effects as according to reviews can be observed:

- Sleeplessness;
