Siofor is a hypoglycemic drug which part the hydrochloride is Metforminum. This substance reduces the level of glucose which contains in blood. Application instruction of Siofor
The dose which depends on glucose level in blood is established by the doctor. Treatment by means of Siofor should be carried out with gradual increase in a dose. It is necessary to begin with 0,5 g a day, within a week to increase a dose to 1,5 g a day.
According to the instruction the maximum daily dose of Siofor makes 3 g.
Pill is taken during meal, without chewing and washing down with a large amount of liquid.

Side effects
At treatment by Siofor there can be diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pains, anorexia, metal smack in a mouth.
