Pharmacological action of Solkoderm

Solkoderm has local effect at treatment of superficial damages of skin which have high-quality character.

The complex of active components of drug influences an affected area of skin, providing intravital fixing with further mummification of fabric.

As a result of Solkoderm's use skin becomes colourless to a yellowish or pale gray shade, and afterwards, in process of a mummifying, is painted in dark brown color.

Several days later (and in certain cases – weeks) the mummified scab formed under the influence of drug gradually exfoliates.

As a rule, after Solkoderm's use according to reviews healing occurs quickly, at the same time emergence of cicatricial fabric or secondary infection are observed in rare instances.

Solkoderm according to the instruction does not make system impact on an organism as it is applied in the minimum doses.

Release form

Drug Solkoderm is produced in the form of colourless transparent solution for external use in which 1 ml contains:

  • 41,1 mg of acetic acid of 99%;
  • 580,7 mg of nitric acid of 70%;
  • 57,4 mg of oxalic acid of a dihydrate;
  • 48 mkg of copper of nitrate (II) of trihydrate;
  • 4,5 mg of lactic acid of 90%.

Auxiliary component of Solkoderm – the water distilled.

In ampoules on 0,2 ml. The plastic applicator and glass capillaries is also included in the package.

Solkoderm's analogs

The closest analogs of Solkoderm on the mechanism of action are solutions for external use Duofilm, Verrukatsid and Kolomak.

Indications to Solkoderm's use

According to the instruction Solkoderm apply outwardly to treatment of high-quality changes of skin at:

  • Ordinary warts (Verruca vulgaris);
  • Sharp-pointed condylomas (Condylomata acuminata);
  • Bottom warts (Verruca plantaris).

Contraindications

Solkoderm according to the instruction it is contraindicated to apply:

  • At malignant new growths of skin which are inclined to innidiation (including a malignant melanoma);
  • On the inflamed sites of skin.

Besides, Solkoderm is not recommended to apply with the expressed tendency to formation of cicatricial fabric, and also to use for removal of keloid cicatrixes and freckles.

In pediatrics Solkoderm is allowed for use since five years.
