Structure and form of release of Tanakanum

Tanakanum is released in two dosage forms:

• The round, biconvex tablets covered with a brick-red cover, containing active ingredient: a ginkgo bilobed extract dry standardized (40 mg). Auxiliary components: monohydrate of lactose, corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, microcrystallic cellulose, colloid silicon dioxide. In blisters on 15 tablets.
• Brownish-orange solution for intake in which 100 ml active agent contains: ginkgo bilobed leaves extract (4 g). Auxiliary components: orange fragrance, sodium saccharinate, the purified water, lemon fragrance, ethanol of 96%. In bottles from dark glass on 30 ml, complete with a pipette doser.

Analogs of Tanakanum are the following medicines: Bilobil, Vitrum Memori, Gingium, Ginkgo bilobed leaves, Ginkgo bilobed extract dry, Ginkio, Ginkoum, Ginos, Memoplant.

Pharmacological action

According to the instruction Tanakanum is the titrated and standardized drug of a plant origin which has effect on processes of a metabolism in cells, on vasomotor reactions of blood vessels, and also on rheological properties of blood.

Use of Tanakanum improves supply of a brain with glucose and oxygen, improves microblood circulation, normalizes a tone of veins and arteries. According to reviews Tanakanum improves a blood stream and slows down aggregation of erythrocytes, interferes with activation of thrombocytes.

Drug has anti-hypoxemic effect on fabrics, improves metabolic processes, stops education of free radicals and peroxide oxidation of lipids of cellular membranes. Influences release, a catabolism and the return capture of neurotransmitters (a dopamine, acetylcholine, serotonin, noradrenaline) and their ability to linkng with membrane receptors.

Contraindications

Solution Tanakanum or its analog has the following additional contraindications:

• acute myocardial infarction;
• erosive gastritis in an aggravation stage;
• age up to 18 years;
• the lowered coagulability of blood;

With care it is necessary to appoint drug or an analog of Tanakanum in the form of solution at:

• alcoholism;
• liver diseases;
• brain diseases;
• craniocereberal injuries.

It is connected with the fact that one dose of solution of Tanakanum contains 450 ml of alcohol.

Route of administration of Tanakanum and mode of dosing

According to the instruction Tanakanum is intended for intake. As a rule, drug in the form of solution or tablets appoint 40 mg in a dosage (1 таб. or 1 ml of solution) three times a day during meal.

Tablets are washed down with water, and solution is added to a half of a glass of water and drunk.

According to reviews it is more convenient to use Tanakanum in the form of solution by means of the enclosed pipette doser.

The minimum course of therapy makes of three months before half a year. As a rule, improvement of the general state is observed on average in a month, depending on indications to Tanakanum.

Tanakanum by-effects

Special instructions

Tanakanum storage conditions

Store drug in the dry cool place. The solution period of validity for intake makes 36 months, tablets – 48 months.
