Aglikon

Aglikon (and - otritsa. Greek glykys – sweet is frequent +; synonym: генин, agglucon) – the part of a molecule of glycosides, glycolipids, glycoproteins and other uglevodsoderzhashchy high-molecular connections which is not containing carbohydrates. The nature of biological activity of all connection often is defined aglikony.
