Alexandrov-Shauty-Vertgeyma operation (Austrian gynecologist E. Wertheim, 1864-1920; domestic doctor S. A. Alexandrov, 1858-1920; Austrian gynecologist of F. Schauta, 1849-1919; synonym: interposition of a uterus vaginovesical) – palliative operation of creation of a support for a bladder at a prolapse of the uterus with a tsistotsela at which make removal of a uterus from an abdominal cavity and its fixing between a bladder and a front wall of a vagina.
