Analeptical means (analeptica; the Greek analeptikos – strengthening, recovering; synonym: analeptics) – medicines which have the stimulating influence on the central nervous system that occurs, mainly, due to increase in excitability of a vasomotor and respiratory center (for example, Corazolum, caffeine, camphor, Cordiaminum, etc.).
