Quinsy is syphilitic

Quinsy syphilitic (angina syphilitica; lat. ango – to smother, squeeze) – set of pathological changes in a pharynx at secondary syphilis.

Allocate:

  • Quinsy syphilitic papular (angina syphilitica papulosa) – is characterized by papulation on a mucous membrane of almonds, language and a pharynx;
  • Quinsy syphilitic pustular and ulcer (angina syphilitica pustuloulcerosa) – is characterized by formation of pustules on a mucous membrane of a pharynx with their ulceration further;
  • Quinsy syphilitic erythematic (angina syphilitica erythematosa) – is characterized by sharply delimited erythema of a mucous membrane
