Anti-fermental substances (antifermentativa; Greek anti-– against; opposite property, action, situation + enzymes) – drugs which selectively suppress activity of certain enzymes (monoamine oxidase inhibitors, antikholinesterazny substances, inhibitors of proteolytic enzymes, etc.).
